It is inevitable that TRAs will continue to try and smear women's groups such as FP4W, WPUK, Standing For Women, ManFriday etc just as they have relentlessly targetted individuals who have spoken out.

This week the attacks and attempted slurs against Jean Hatchet who Rides for Murdered Women have been extraordinary but they show the extent that some TRAs will go to.

Publicising that tweet has backfired on Pink News as it's just given woman another platform to raise the repugnant idea of womb transplants for men in addition to showing actual distressing tweets. This twitter feed is amazing.

Never, but I think there may have been more to the tweet, more context. I have vague memory of a thread here discussing the science behind possible womb transplants and there was a lot of talk about anti rejection drugs and ongoing health issues, including increased risk of a number of cancers.

And that was when the women posting were feeling pleasant enough to overlook how the womb would become available for transplant in the first place.

It was incredibly gross all round but was begun by a number of tweets about how soon trans women would be able to get a womb of their own making women redundant - but presumably only after having had their wombs removed!

I think that cancer tweet is being taken a tad out of context. It's not wishing a 1000 cancers on Transwomen, it is (gleefully) pointing out that a man trying to gestate a foetus is rather like something out of Alien. Foetuses are kind of parasitic, and I dread to think what havoc they would wreak in a male body.

But as it is a totally pie in the sky concept it's kind of ok to joke about it?

The faux outrage of Prick News is what's funny. Women comment mockingly on the grim idea of transplanting wombs into males and experimenting on babies. This is EXTREMELY DISTRESSING. Lesbians abused and threatened with rape. SILENCE.

Loving the idea of a protest. Just draws more attention to the issue. Imagine hundreds........ok......tens of angry looking men with their "women have penises" signs.

Good, every time there is an attempt at censorship it reflects badly on them. Just like Harrop complaining about the billboard had the Streisand effect hopefully so too will protests about an advert. All great publicity for FPFW, and they can hardly damage the circulation of a free newspaper.
