I was at the Posie Parker meeting on Friday in Manchester. I honestly thought nothing could top the examples given by Ann Ruzylo (ex prison officer) about poor female prisoners being forced to listen to period anecdotes from what was clearly a man with whom they were incarcerated. Some of them were so gas lighted and traumatised that they asked the prison officers if the male prisoner was actually a man and the prison officers had to collude in the madness and weren't allowed to tell them.
