If follow the argument that 'TWAW just because that's the way they feel' through to its logical conclusion, we come to the terrifying proposition that this disgusting man hasn't done anything wrong.
He could argue that because he feels like a 14 year old boy, he is 14 year old boy, and therefore to punish him for trying to start a relationship with a person his own age is to deny him his human rights.
If we allow anyone to say they're anything, based on their feelings, well, literally anything goes.
Someone with letters after their name, a dodgy agenda and enough support could argue, hey, there's such a thing as arrested development, childhood trauma can cause someone to be stuck at a certain age, this guy thinks he's 14, he's a victim not a predator, and shouldn't go to jail. Bingo, a dangerous man walks free.
If we allow dangerous men to set the agenda, there are no checks and balances. No lines in the sand. No way of saying, 'No, you fucker.' Give bastards an inch and they'll take a fucking mile.
Let's face it, that gross specimen has far more in common with a 14 year old boy than he has with any woman in the world. For a start, he once was one. He has real knowledge of how to be one 'feels'. It's not such a leap to say, 'Oh, but it's not his fault he's attracted to kids. He is a kid trapped in a grown man's body.'
I know that sounds far-fetched. But Christ, if you told me a year ago that I'd get a wrist slap from Facebook for posting 'women have periods' I'd have laughed.
