For no particular reason ... I wonder how many politicians have put pictures of themselves in their underwear online publicly?

It seems very odd to me that someone who says they want to be an MP and later the prime minister would do this. Surely if you were at all politically savvy you'd know this was a bad idea?

I know that some MPs have posed in swimwear- one because she had been a lifeguard & when a paper found old pics she gamely posed again to highlight lifeguards great work.

But in underwear?

Unless you are a Russian demagogue trying to prove you aren't gay by riding a horse while stripped to the waist (definitely not gay at all) I can't see why any aspiring politician would pose for revealing photographs.

I feel bad for posting sweet little Shirley Temple, but clearly she’s become a political style icon.

It's just more proof that the big issue is 'look at me, aren't I gorgeous/looking like this gives me the HORN', in my opinion.
