Andrea, formerly Andrew, killed parents & their pet chihuahua. Andrea allowed brother Christopher to escape.

Andrea has long blamed the murders on the lack of affirmation of gender identity by the parents, but has now come up with a new excuse, that mum was overly affectionate.

We are expected to use female pronouns to refer to this monster.

This is a person with a serious mental illness. His gender confusion is only a part of it.

VickyEadie · 19/09/2018 17:37

Crackpots

I agree.

CrackpotsArePots · 19/09/2018 17:38

And we do not know whether he was abused or not. His actions were monstrous.

SPOFS · 19/09/2018 17:39

This is just a child from what I can see. It sounds like they had a serious mental health condition that was undiagnosed. Sadly, many "transgender children" aren't receiving the correct treatment ever since it was decided that trans isn't a mental illness.

Society has failed this child.

CrackpotsArePots · 19/09/2018 17:41

SPOFs

That's what worries me. We don't understand enough about the genesis of this.

happydappy2 · 19/09/2018 17:48

Utterly awful situation, that 17 year old clearly has huge mental health problems. I don’t see why anyone should feel obliged to call him ‘her’.
I imagine they knew they would get a more lenient scentence if they committed the crime before turning 18. My heart goes out to his brother who had to grow up with this monster.

The second link
A lock of her dark hair fell over her eye and curled up
Or words to that affect. FFS they are not writing a romantic novel. Is that to make them seem more womanlyHmm

SlowlyShrinking · 19/09/2018 17:56

He sounds very disturbed

AsAProfessionalFekko · 19/09/2018 17:57

Hard reading. Was he never diagnosed with mental illness?

CrackpotsArePots · 19/09/2018 17:57

We do not know whether he was abused

We do not know whether he was groomed online, as you allude to

It's just all very very tragic.

And for God's sake, let's hope he is treated, and he is not put in a woman's facility

Angharad07 · 19/09/2018 17:58

The monster may also be trying to fake the symptoms of a mental illness so that his defence can plead for a more lenient sentence on the grounds of insanity...

SlowlyShrinking · 19/09/2018 17:58

I wonder if it’s a case of him feeling ‘not right’ and latching onto transgenderism as a possible reason, the number getting lots of affirmation that his parents won’t understand him?

AsAProfessionalFekko · 19/09/2018 18:00

It sounds like a disturbed violent individual looking for a cause. It could very easily have been a violent religious cult persuading him to go and blow himself up.

happydappy2 · 19/09/2018 18:01

Clearly he is a male, he has killed two innocent people who were also his parents....he should be referred to as he. I don’t think people should be allowed to have SRS if they are in a prison (then transfer to the women’s prison.)
Just so sad on so many levels.

AsAProfessionalFekko · 19/09/2018 18:06

His brother calls him 'he'. That says aot to be honest.

NotTerfNorCis · 19/09/2018 18:19

I doubt that if this had happened 20 years ago he would have identified as female. It would probably not have crossed his mind.

AsAProfessionalFekko · 19/09/2018 18:25

He'd've blamed Satan or the communists.

AspieAndProud · 19/09/2018 18:44

*He also talked about hearing an occasional “tone” in his head that affects his thinking.

“I figured it’s 13 kilohertz, just a high-pitched, constant tone,” he said, adding that it was present around the time of the slaying as well.*

I've heard about this before. It was in The X-Files and a recent Criminal Minds

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hum

It could be sounds generated by the inner ear.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 19/09/2018 18:47

festering

I saw the curl comment as well...ridiculous whoever they are describing

AsAProfessionalFekko · 19/09/2018 18:57

Or tinnitus. Lots of people in my family have tinnitus. Whilst it may make you feel thy you want to rip your ears off I can't say it's driven anyone to murder.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 19/09/2018 18:59

Even if it does drive you to murder the accused is certainly attempting to cover the waterfront when it comes to their defence

Or probably defences

AsAProfessionalFekko · 19/09/2018 19:02

I wonder if he will ever realise what he has done to his parents and brother. All he seems to be concerned with is mememe.

Theswaggyotter · 19/09/2018 19:17

Premeditated murder - did he also deliberately do this before turning 18 to avoid adult justice system? He seemed more upset about killing the dog to be honest.
I suspect he has deep mental health problems and may be better in a mental health hospital than prison (but don’t know how that works in USA)

WhereDoWeBeginToCovetClarice · 19/09/2018 19:34

Probably a psychopath.
