Andrea, formerly Andrew, killed parents & their pet chihuahua. Andrea allowed brother Christopher to escape.

Andrea has long blamed the murders on the lack of affirmation of gender identity by the parents, but has now come up with a new excuse, that mum was overly affectionate.

We are expected to use female pronouns to refer to this monster.

The brother clearly doesn't believe any of it

Explaining some of the reasoning behind the 40-year sentence, the judge noted that in the call to 911 (emergency services), “The defendant seemed thrilled by her actions on the night in question.”

I didn't listen, but this article has the 911 recording:

www.centralmaine.com/2018/12/04/balcer-sentenced-to-40-years-in-prison-in-parents-halloween-2016-slayings-in-winthrop/

BTW, I emailed the reporter & asked whether Balcer would be placed in a men's or women's prison - & where Balcer has been held during the 2+ years of detention since the killings. She emailed back that she didn't know. Skimming through the state of Maine's published policy on transgender inmates, it seems there will be an evaluation process before a decision is made.

I feel awful for the brother. He essentially has a life sentence too, even though he's innocent

There is a bit on this here

www.mirror.co.uk/news/real-life-stories/i-stabbed-parents-dog-dont-14026111

"When her mum had discovered Andrea was still awake, she had come to check on her – and while Alice was giving Andrea one of her comforting hugs, Andrea had plunged the knife repeatedly and fatally into her back.

Man fucks up and blames the nearest woman. Same shit, different day

WowWowWomen · 25/02/2019 00:21

I think my arms would hurt if I stabbed people over twenty times, I think it would be really hard to do. I doubt it ever just happens. On Halloween, with a dog murder and someone left to tell the story. This makes me think of We Need To Talk About Kevin.

Premeditated murder as minor, you might get out one day.

Declared insane, you are never ever getting out.

If someone decides they are Jesus or the Devil or whatever the press doesn't then use that name to describe them and refer to them as Dark Overlord or Him so why on earth do they play along with this?

That poor family.

He also talked about hearing an occasional “tone” in his head that affects his thinking.
Yes, that's tinnitus. I've had this since childhood - it started as occasional episode of hearing a high-pitched tone. I was an adult before I found out not everyone had noises in their ear! Once I hit middleage, the episodes became longer and longer until it's now continuous. It can get annoying, but I've learned how to not let it affect my life.

But it certainly would have added to this boy's illness, especially as their are now lots of conspiracy sites saying it's a real noise and part of a government conspiracy to control people.

GraceTheDisgrace · 25/02/2019 15:06

GrumpGran8 I have tinnitus too, had it since I was 8 years old. Still haven't murdered anyone.
