MNHQ: I'd like to start a thread about the reality of phalloplasty without it being deleted

MNHQ has already deleted one thread "not in the spirit".

Fair enough.

Please lay out exactly how I can start a thread about phalloplasty, with images (of arms, not of penises).
This is important. Thousands of girls are identifying as boys, and the medical pathway for those girls includes breastbinding, double mastectomies, hysterectomies and phalloplasties.

Guidance from many institutions is unquestioning affirmation.

I want to discuss this. Truthfully.

Tell me how I can do this without MNHQ deleting my thread and I will follow your rules to the letter.

Or tell the thousands of women on this site that we are forbidden from discussing the outcome of SRS for girls entirely.

What are your rules please?

I feel shocked just reading this without seeing images. Is it really 1000s of young women doing this now? Are stats kept on it?

speakingwoman · 15/09/2018 21:41

I don’t understand the reference to arms?

ThefusilliJerry · 15/09/2018 21:43

If we see the reality of it we might not blindly support it. So we must not be allowed to see it.
Why MNHQ feels it has to participate in this distinctly sinister approach - who knows. Fear of the TRAs I expect

FunkyBoldRibenas · 15/09/2018 21:46

I don’t understand the reference to arms?

Well, it seems like a war on woman.

But it is apparently about the arms being where they take the skin from to make the penises.

After seeing this thread, I can only say 'the horror, the horror'.

BernardBlacksWineIcelolly · 15/09/2018 21:47

I don’t understand the reference to arms?

I believe the forearm is skinned to harvest skin for the pseudo phallus speakingwoman

RedSaidBread · 15/09/2018 21:47

I think a discussion ought to be fine with advice to google for those who wish to view images for themselves. I can't see why images should need to be included. We all have google, we can all take a few minutes to use it if we wish to see what the results of these procedures look like, surely?

RedSaidBread · 15/09/2018 21:48

FWIW id like to read a discussion and not see images as I know they will upset me.

BarrackerBarmer · 15/09/2018 21:53

Thousands of women are not doing this...yet, Charley50. Thousands have taken the first steps on the medical pathway though. Thousands I suspect are breast binding, and many are on testosterone - which by necessity must lead to a hysterectomy in due course because the cancer risk becomes too high. Phalloplasties are so far not in such great numbers.

But then, the exponential increases in girls identifying as boys seen by the Tavistock clinic haven't yet all reached adulthood. That is when the tsunami of surgeries will hit.

Presumably MNHQ could have just deleted the photos in the other thread rather than delete the whole thread?

I used to moderate a huge forum a decade age and we could delete photos back then, surely MNHQ have the power to be discerning in their use of the big delete button?

CrackpotsArePots · 15/09/2018 21:59

It's shocking to see pictures of the results of breast binding too

littlbrowndog · 15/09/2018 22:05

Omg
How will they ever take part in adult relationship
No chance

Poor feckers

CertainHalfDesertedStreets · 15/09/2018 22:06

That's not just skin. That's a proper pound of flesh that is.

SlowlyShrinking · 15/09/2018 22:07

There was a tumblr about ftm trans treatments and there was one young woman who had had phalloplasty and had the most horrendous complications, being incontinent of urine, having faeces leaking out of the perineum, just awful awful stuff. They were still having to go through more and more surgery to attempt to correct what the surgeon had done their body. And had also started legal action against the surgeon (and wasn’t the only patient suing him). This was in America. And it was harrowing. The person had suffered so much and there was no end in sight of their suffering. I’ve not looked at the tumblr did ages but just hope everything eventually was made right for them.

But no one ever says to them

littlbrowndog · 15/09/2018 22:12

Well what we all mostly want is to have a great sex life

How can they have that
They will just be on a web forum talking about their surgeries

Poor poor women to do that to yourself with the help and collusion of liars

littlbrowndog · 15/09/2018 22:13

And for nothing

SlowlyShrinking · 15/09/2018 22:18

I know, it’s horrific

gendercritter · 15/09/2018 22:20

Female orgasms can be so incredible - there is no way a bit of harvested skin from your forearm is ever going to give you similar sexual sensation.

NewUserNameTime · 15/09/2018 22:22

I think people underestimate these types of surgery, or rather some people do

ABitCrapper · 15/09/2018 22:28

But if it's so easy for us to Google and see, surely the people who are actually contemplating it would also have seen. Noone would not research elective non essential non emergency surgery surely?!

So we can't really say "poor them" - they are adults, they should know the scar / complications etc.

littlbrowndog · 15/09/2018 22:29

Would be interesting to see how many of the guys who claim to be women had their erm bits cut off as compared to the women who had bits o& their bodies to be tried to be turned into penises

hipsterfun · 15/09/2018 22:30

a poor facsimile of male genitalia

Unconvincing form, absent function.

littlbrowndog · 15/09/2018 22:31

Social contagion crapper.

Once they on that path hard to turn back as all the friends on internet going. Yeah yeah go for it.

Will be good and we luv u for it
