Tentatively coming out of the woodwork to say I've bought a ticket for this. I've been following the debate over the last few months and I am horrified actually.

Who is standing up for women?

Very few it would seem.

Do we really have to do feminism all over again... flippin eck!

UrsulaPandress · 17/09/2018 13:27

I've bought a ticket!

Excited.

I have a girl crush on Posie.

Writersblock2 · 17/09/2018 15:09

I’m in the south west and would love to attend but trains are way too expensive. If anyone is going from down this end and is willing to put up with a travel buddy (I’ll pay petrol) then I’d love to tag along.

BingBongSong · 17/09/2018 20:53

I have sorted childcare and bought a ticket!

So hope to be in Liverpool on the Tuesday and Manchester on the Friday. Looking forward to it!

placemats · 17/09/2018 21:07

See you all Friday week.

TerfedOff · 17/09/2018 21:27

What a line up
I'll be there Smile

LadyLauraOver · 17/09/2018 23:23

Going as well. On my own. See you all there!

Miketv · 17/09/2018 23:51

Have we discussed a mumsnet code? Red carnation? Mumsnet scarf?

UrsulaPandress · 18/09/2018 07:56

Not the Mumsnet haircut please!

SwearyG · 18/09/2018 08:36

I don’t have enough hair for the mumsnet haircut, thank goodness.

Really looking forward to this - slightly overawed to be sharing a platform with amazing women who have been fighting this battle far longer than I have, but who wouldn’t be?

Can’t wait! (Though a little more time to write and polish my speech might come in handy, must knuckle down Grin)

Miketv · 18/09/2018 08:54

I'm not sure what the mumsnet haircut is and am now a bit worried I may have it!

Thesuzle · 18/09/2018 08:58

Hi all
Are they going to do one further south than Manchester but not london either ?
With you in spirit ladies

SwearyG · 18/09/2018 09:54

Ha Mike you'd know if you have it. It's a way of cutting your own hair - you tie it into a ponytail on your forehead and chop the end off before snipping into it. It has varying results, but having seen some mishaps on here I'd say don't try it.

BingBongSong · 18/09/2018 10:10

Planning on driving - if anyone needs a lift from the Wirral, please let me know.

Hyppolyta · 18/09/2018 10:38

Ive just bought my ticket for Manchester, and I cant wait!

Ill be going straight after work so will be hanging round Manchester for an hour beforehand if anyone wants to meet up.

YesItsADebate · 18/09/2018 10:39

@SwearyG you could try it without the ponytail. It would give your hairdresser something to talk about Grin

MN signal is the badges AFAICT.

UrsulaPandress · 18/09/2018 10:43

Which badges ?

SwearyG · 18/09/2018 11:39

So trim my fringe @YesItsADebate

Badges available from ManFriday's online shop - we need to sell some as the next payment on our yacht is due Wink

Miketv · 18/09/2018 11:41

Can you sell them at the event do you think??

YesItsADebate · 18/09/2018 12:11

Oi! Forget your yacht, I need my swimming pool put in first!

@Miketv yes I’m sure we can flog you some badges on the night.

silentcrow · 24/09/2018 21:26

Just a wee bump, since it's this week! Is it sold out, do we know? My badge hasn't come yet Sad I may yet scrawl "Radicalised By Mumsnet" on an address label...

BingBongSong · 24/09/2018 21:30

I'm looking forward to it Smile. I posted one of the FPFW videos on my FB, have been very quiet about this on social media, and got quite a positive response!

placemats · 25/09/2018 10:03

I'll be in Piccadilly Station at around 6pm. I take it we get an email beforehand regarding the venue? I'd rather have a text to be honest as I can't seem to get my most recent email on my phone. I will be meeting up with a few others there but everyone is welcome.

placemats · 25/09/2018 10:05

Actually, if I'm meeting up with others then I don't need a text. I'm just worried I'll miss them. I must organise a contact no from those I'm meeting with.
