Cross over from the Green Party terf blocker stuff.

Harrop and his merry band of TRAs are trying to convince Caroline Lucas that it's all the fault of evil terfs really.

So there's Harrop, known harrasser of gender critical women, Terf Blocker, known for lass blocking and reporting of GC women, and LisaQuestions who identified David Challenor's victim

Harrop & Pink News go after FP4W with an alleged tweet :

'Group behind Metro newspaper ad sent ‘chilling’ tweets about trans women getting ‘1,000 cancers’
by Nick Duffy 12th October 2018

(extract)
"Campaigners say that the tweets reflect a more sinister intention behind Fair Play For Women’s recent Metro ad, which the newspaper said was not meant “to be transphobic.”

Dr Adrian Harrop, a GP registrar and LGBT+ rights campaigner, told PinkNews: “It has been clear to many of those involved in working with and advocating for the trans and non-binary community that ‘Fair Play For Women’ and other similar groups are motivated entirely by transphobia — a hatred for and a desire to erase trans people from our society.

“These screenshots are truly chilling, and I’m sure that any trans person viewing them, would find them really quite horrifying and distressing.”

Belonger · 12/10/2018 21:08

I saw these and did think it was a mistake, doesn't sound like the usual F PfW tone

Belonger · 12/10/2018 21:11

Just noticed it was a year ago.

Well Dr Harrop, I think you might have skeletons in your own twitter closet you might want to bear in mind, eh sausage?

littlbrowndog · 12/10/2018 21:15

Yeps his doxing
His bullying

Fuck off harrop

QuackPorridgeBacon · 12/10/2018 21:24

But a woman carrying a baby is a host. And the baby is technically a parasite. Given that we are built and equipped to carry babies, it does seem logical that a male person carrying a baby would not fair well. I think it’s a bit gross actually. That may sound awful and shock some, but I don’t understand why men should be able to switch their sex (although they actually can’t) and then have babies using transplanted uteruses that I believe should only go to women. Why should a natural born woman be denied the chance to carry a baby because a man says he wants to?

TwistedStitch · 12/10/2018 21:28

Yeah Harrop and co need to be careful how much they want to push the issue of that tweet, because it opens up the idea of men getting womb transplants which most people would find really grim.

heresyandwitchcraft · 12/10/2018 21:30

Why is it always Harrop?

RepealtheGRA · 12/10/2018 21:31

TwistedStitch

Please let them push that tweet. I’d really like a public discussion about where all these spare wombs will be coming from. Angry

TwistedStitch · 12/10/2018 21:35

I want to see Harrop put on the spot and asked as a doctor if wombs for men are feasible. He can then either upset his pals who are all talking about how they can soon have babies or lose the last bit of any credibility he may have as a medical professional.

QuackPorridgeBacon · 12/10/2018 21:35

Could you imagine if it became compulsory after ... children to donate your womb to a man. I mean, I’m going quite dystipian here but stranger things n all that. I didn’t expect women to lose their meaning of the word, but there you go, it’s happening.

FloralBunting · 12/10/2018 21:38

My advice? Ignore the attempt at distraction by Twitter archaeology. Harrop and the other AWAs are on the back foot and are just trying to reassert control of the narrative.

QuackPorridgeBacon · 12/10/2018 21:38

TwistedStitch I’d love for the same to happen. Would be interesting. Even in the sky news interview when asked if he would base his patients medical assessments etc (not exact wording) on their identity he said, of course not. That was after arguing that men can become women etc, this is a doctors fs. So why erase the meaning of the words that separates us biologically and therefore medically?

TigerDrankAllTheWaterInTheTap · 12/10/2018 21:46

I'm sure there's truth in the idea that TRAs like to tweet about TW becoming pregnant because it immediately results in lots of responses. However, I think they forget that the whole world can see tweets and I would bet my house that 99% of the general public would be against womb transplants for male-bodied people. The risks to the fetus are immense. How would it ever get ethical approval?

Mind you, I'd have said that about inducing lactation in a trans woman until that article came out last year. Hmm

RepealtheGRA · 12/10/2018 21:47

Ooh yes! I would LOVE to see Harrop on sky news, talking about wombs being implanted in males, while Posie snorts derisively next to him Grin

TwistedStitch · 13/10/2018 08:15

People are raising the womb transplants under the Pink News article. The women on this thread are amazing.

Elephantinacravat · 13/10/2018 08:21

That twitter thread, yaaaaaas!

TwistedStitch · 13/10/2018 08:27

Yep. Just shown up the faux outrage at one unpleasant tweet.

Ereshkigal · 13/10/2018 08:36

Sorry R0 I missed your question yesterday.

I think Fae might have deleted the tweet. I saw it when Fae made it but all I can find is this reference by Rose of Dawn to a deleted tweet by suspended user @terfclub (who used to also post here and exposed a lot of the Challenor stuff) if you're reading please try to get that Fae screenshot back up on Twitter, that would be most useful!

heresyandwitchcraft · 13/10/2018 09:04

If I haven't said it yet, AH online reminds me of this clip with the character Sid from Toy Story. Right down to the Buzz Lightyear quote:
"I don't believe that man's ever been to medical school..."

Tanith · 13/10/2018 09:29

“Also Karen hasn't just put a dress on. Evidently there has been quite a lot of cosmetic surgery and dentistry.”

Actually, I assumed that first photo of Karen as a woman was an early one. His ex-partner said he occasionally dressed up as a woman, but showed no sign of wanting to be a woman.
The second photo I assume is of Karen at the present time. No make-up, no wig, no change.

gilchrist168 · 13/10/2018 16:08

Sid and Ade may well have a future in Forensic Psychiatry heresy

BumbrainusMaximus · 13/10/2018 16:11

Is he really a doctor? Looks like more of an oily tick to me.
At school we used to line up four or five of his sort and use them as a toast rack

gilchrist168 · 13/10/2018 16:40

I'm changing my emergency Medi Aid wrist band, to a: Medi Ade one. I might end up in A and E, with him tweeting shit while I need CPR.

Medi Ade band now says, " Adult Human Female. Severe Doxtor Allergy. Please use epi pen. No, not on ME..."

HerFemaleness · 13/10/2018 17:56

Harrop & Pink News go after FP4W with an alleged tweet :

Different strokes for different folks. Personally I am more disturbed by male bodied people slavering at the thought of chopping up female bodied people and harvesting our wombs.
