Dr Harrop, you are late to the party, but this is exactly the problem with self ID. How does anyone know whether someone is genuine or if they are using the costume of trans or woman, to access women. To fulfil their sexual fantasies or paraphilia.

He doesn't care about women or rape. He's trying to pull off a "no true transwoman" defence. He's not going to acknowledge that it is a problem with self ID. If he's challenged on it he'll probably bring up lesbian sex offenders or something.

Also Karen hasn't just put a dress on. Evidently there has been quite a lot of cosmetic surgery and dentistry. As much as it pains me to say it, the surgery has been high quality - better than a lot of Hollywood efforts. The female visage is quite an improvement on the original male one. Not an effect that could have been achieved without an investment of time and effort (especially from the NHS).
