The Rochdale etc scandals are huge targets for the Conservative Party. Its a working class issue, which is where the Conservatives are doing well. It plays to stuff about Islamophobia and political correctness gone mad. Its a way into a lot of - particularly Northern and particularlt traditional Labour - areas.

There's been a bit of a joke this week about being 'trans-northern' but there is also something to be said about how the subject plays differently in the north versus the south - which runs loosely along class lines rather than where someone is from.

They know that paedophila gets people emotional. Its an easy pitch for votes.

Yeah, Aimee might have certain skills, which could be problematic, but don't overstate and overcredit their ability either.

How can the Green Party forward its environmental policies and convince sceptics that climate change is real when they have candidates who are the biological equivalent of flat-earthers?
