With heavy thoughts and hurting hearts, our collective has reached a consensus concerning very serious allegations against a highly regarded member of our group.

Geo String/ Vlad Blyat has engaged in a number of abusive actions against those he calls comrade. He has committed sexual assault, physical/verbal abuse, controlling/ manipulative behavior and he refuses to own his actions.

He was offered a path to restorative justice, but he again refused to acknowledge or respond to the allegations of abuse in a meaningful way.

This public outing of Geo/Vlad, as a rapist and serial abuser is the only option we were left with. He must be held accountable by the collective if he wont accept accountability on his own.

The included a line about bricking women in the teeth, and implying stamping on their heads.

Someone's written on their facebook page "So, let me get this straight. A man who advocated violence against women has been found to be perpetrating violence against women, and people are surprised?"

Well, exactly.

The idiots aren't calling the police on him though, as they don't believe in the police (as they're anarchists). Or - the man who broke this news says they won't anyway. I really hope the women he is accused of assaulting feel differently and go to the police.

Restorative justice? Makes me think of that John Irving novel (Hotel New Hampshire?) where one of the characters dresses up as a bear in order to deal with a rapist.

Now there's a surprise - the rot goes back decades and continues to this day, and women get no justice then or now, in a whole series of separate incidents. And now the rapists have invented a new word to justify not facing justice: "carceral feminism."

In practice, to me, the Never Involve Plod thing looked like a way for the stronger to enjoy their power, while ideological handcuffing the weaker ones from fighting back effectively, so the stronger never had to pay any real consequences for the shit they did.

It didn't really look any different from my earlier years of seeing moustachioed middle aged men picking on their perpetually worried looking wives and kids, pulling the "What will the neighbours think !" card to make sure they never got any ideas about putting a spanner in the works.

When I found myself in a relationship with DV in my 20s, it took ages for me to call the police as i'd had it drummed into me when a teen that only grasses called the police.

It was only when a friend eventually called the police that I started gaining back some control. I have no such stupid qualms about calling them now.

Gender Identity Watch were spot on, then. Back in April, they said:

So Timbo has turned on Geoff Stringer and is calling him out for his crimes.

That's it exactly. The people most likely to gain from a communal aversion to use the normal social avenues to protect the vulnerable manipulate the less strong by creating the aversion and enforcing social sanction on those that don't toe the line.

The details of how the aversion/social sanction gets presented depends on the group's sub culture. But it's all malevolent self interest cut from the same cloth.

What struck me when I heard that song, even more than the lyrics, was the tone of voice they sang in. They sounded incredibly angry and vicious. The sort of men who really hate women. Looking at the comments on that gofundme link, it doesn't surprise me at all that one of them may be the man being accused of DV.

I am so shocked that a man who wrote a song about kerbstomping disobedient women hates women and likes hurting us. Behold my shocked face.

When I first saw that video I wondered if the lyrics were fantasies now I think they were just recounting their previous.

Restorative justice ffs. In cases like this it just allows men to get away with violence against women how very very progressive. And the whiny statement is all about the abuser not a word about the victim(s).
