Aimee has withdrawn from the leadership elections, they very much have not resigned

Charliethefeminist · 26/08/2018 19:55

Excuse me I thought they had resigned from equalities role

OrchidInTheSun · 26/08/2018 20:11

The GP has stripped them from the website but AC's twitter profile still lists them in that role. Perhaps Challenor hasn't been told? I don't think there has been a statement about that role at all

Sarahconnor1 · 26/08/2018 20:23

A.C. withdrew for the deputy leader elections and is taking a break (not resigned) from other activities.

jungle723 · 27/08/2018 00:35

I haven't read the whole thread yet but is Joshua Harry Bradley, Jess? They have different dates of birth. Joshua was born in 1998, Jess in 1988.

TimeLady · 27/08/2018 06:13

We're pretty sure the 1998 dob is a mistake. Accuracy doesn't seem to be a prerequisite when the NUS is filling in forms - there's another entry in Companies House for Jess Bradley that says Feb 1995, when it's clearly the same person.

Bradley wanted us to see their cock. That's the whole point of exhibitionism, no? Clue is in the name

Indeed Clarice!

Tl25 · 27/08/2018 22:40

Hi I've been following your thread and wanted to post a question raised by this article reguarding Jim Jepps. Partner of green party Natalie Bennet

Tl25 · 27/08/2018 22:42

The article quotes Jim -
He also dismissed a case in which a blogger was charged with obscenity for writing an article imagining the kidnap and murder of the pop group Girls Aloud.
Is there any connection between Jim and Jane fae?

I know a lot of other stuff has been going on today but I just wanted to say:

Bradley, we still see you.

theOtherPamAyres · 28/08/2018 19:49

We still see you, National Union of Students. No day will be a good day to 'bury bad news'.

Tell me, NUS, is Jess on gardening leave or volunteering with another organisation - mentoring and supporting young people in another guise?

You see, that's what I worries me about the delay and procrastination: safeguarding youngsters while you lot prance about progressing your careers, moving on, and leaving successors to pick up the 'hard to do' inbox.

I feel that you have a responsibility to conclude your enquiry expeditiously and in the public interest. This is not just an employment contract matter.

LadybirdsAreBirds · 29/08/2018 09:47

Bump

Charliethefeminist · 29/08/2018 10:03

What form is this inquiry taking? Can anyone report Jess to the police?

BraveAndStunning · 29/08/2018 10:19

I want to know what is happening with Jess Bradley. Why has there been total media silence on this? This is the person who advised the Women and Equalities committee on transgender issues. Who then got their knob out in public numerous times and has deeply disturbing pictures of children on the blog belonging to this person.

We are in the middle of a NATIONAL consultation re Gender Identity. Yet none of the newspapers are questioning why a 'non binary woman' and political figure gets 'her' knob out in public.

AngryAttackKittens · 29/08/2018 10:22

Given the old cliche about bad things coming in 3s I'm wondering who TRA # 3 who's behaved appallingly and got caught will be.

WhereDoWeBeginToCovetClarice · 29/08/2018 10:46

I am getting pretty sick of this. Has Carter Ruck succeeded in shutting people up now?

OrchidInTheSun · 29/08/2018 10:57

Is anyone a member of the NUS and can (legitimately) ask them what the hell is going on? They've blocked me on Twitter but I'm not a student so they have no obligation to answer me.

What about Manchester University? Given at least one of the offences seems to have taken place in their property, has he been banned?

Floisme · 30/08/2018 07:03

Another one wondering how the investigation is going NUS?
We are all waiting.

Current threads discussing a range of concerns about BACP Best Practice Guide by Dr Meg-John Barker (Edward Lord's partner).

December 2017 Appreciation demonstrated between Bradley and Barker for each other's writings in screenshot.

I wonder if this will be investigated by the Minister for Universities, Sam Gyimah MP.

He made the announcement earlier in the year about the importance of free speech in universities.

May 3rd 2018 reported by the Times, (extract)
"Sam Gyimah, the universities minister, will announce tough guidance on the issue at a meeting today, calling attempts to silence debate “chilling”.

He will accuse some student societies of “institutional hostility” to certain unfashionable but perfectly lawful views. A “murky” legal landscape, with guidance from various regulators, lets zealots censor those with whom they disagree, Mr Gyimah will say."

Also interested to know what is happening with the NUS and Bradley. Because I'm not going to forget about this. Sorry...

Action for Trans Health website, May 2014:

Loz, Rohan, and Jess from Action for Trans Health set sail for the National Union of Students LGBT Campaign Conference in Nottingham last weekend, where they met LGBT student activists from across the country, passed policy, and ran a workshop on trans healthcare.

The fantastic news is that the NUS LGBT Campaign, which constitutes the largest LGBT-specific campaign in the UK, voted unanimously to affiliate to the Action for Trans* Health Network and to support our work.

Later...

The conference also passed policy to campaign for the removal of the spousal veto in marriage, to no-platform transphobic speakers,

And.... We spoke to a lot of student activists who had tirelessly campaigned for gender-neutral toilets on their campuses and for trans students to be able to change their name on their degree certificates. We were particularly impressed with Nottingham LGBT Society who had done some amazing work engaging with medical students to fight for trans issues to have place on the curriculum.

Had absolutely no idea this sort of thing has been around for so long....

Bradley is still tweeting Its

Ada, of the ponytail at speakers' corner, I think

boatyardblues · 30/08/2018 18:35

That JB tweet with the embedded one in it - what is it with the TRAs scrounging for money on social media? Its really odd.
