@Viago - I had a man run at me with his fist raised because he wanted me to keep my workplace open for him after we were closed.

We were standing in the dark, with everything locked up and all the other customers gone, and one nasty bastard refusing to leave.

He ran at me screaming "You ugly fat bitch" and "You fucking lesbian" while I stood in front of a pregnant colleague and we waited for the police to arrive.

Just because no, we didn't want to stay at work until gone midnight, unpaid, waiting for one man to decide he'd wasted enough money in a slot machine. He thought because he was bigger and we were women, he could do as he liked. He was wrong, but he didn't like a woman telling him no.

My father in law is another one for this. He's very tall and he uses his size and his weight to intimidate people while he raises his voice as well. I hated going anywhere with them when we were still in contact as he would be awful to people serving in shops or waiters in restaurants, or just anybody smaller or female if he felt they were in his way. He liked to frighten or embarrass people who said no to him.

My favourite quote from that thread: "seems like a pretty open and shut case of Stunning and Brave"

OMG, that is GOLD!

I must have missed the original, as I hurried to catch up on the reading.

Interesting collection there TimeLady.
As a number of the addresses match with the different (but similar) names, it wouldn't take a Sherlock Holmes to put it together.

Yes, I do believe we have our very own MN CSI. LOL

haXXor that is truly frightening, the extent to how freely exchanged, untrackable, and commonplace that has become.

Yet more boundary violations of women.

Bloody hell Hygge.

theOtherPamAyres · 31/07/2018 12:33

I will be very interested to see whether Carter Ruck will jump into action once they read the comments section of the Times article on the resignation of the Labour Council councillor in Cambridge.

It may have disappeared by now, or the Times might let those comments stand. In other words, they would be publishing them into the public domain. We'll see.

A couple of posters relay the whole story of JB's predilictions in the context of JB's position of influence. In those comments, the posters have broadcast the details that JB's backers (LBGT organisations? the NUS? private sponsors?) determine to keep private with the threat of Carter Ruck being ready to go after them.

It's interesting times when Trans Extremism brings into focus themes like the arrogance of local councils, the erosion of safeguarding boundaries and the Cliff Richard ruling on the right to privacy.

Popchyk · 31/07/2018 12:45

Manchester Evening News has picked this up.

"Jess Bradley denies ‘engaging in sexual activity with anyone, or in the view of anyone, without their consent’"

link

That is Bradley's local paper.

Melamin · 31/07/2018 12:54

Put your penis away on public transport, said nobody to a woman ever. Grin

mrnohips · 31/07/2018 13:09

What is it with pervy men and this urge to flash their penises?
They're so disgusting.

Hygge · 31/07/2018 13:14

I'm getting sick of the word penis being the centre of every discussion about women and their rights. We shouldn't have to have to keep arguing about not wanting to see penises on display in our workplace, changing room, or public park.

It's like the quote about how women have to start conversations about feminism with the disclaimer that they don't hate men.

So I'm sharing to even up the score a bit.

Bowlofbabelfish · 31/07/2018 13:16

but don’t get it out in public or they’ll put you in the dock, and they wooooont let you out...!

m.youtube.com/watch?v=nGRPFUYUUdQ

It’s funny, but Monty Python seems so relevant at the moment doesn’t it?

Sarahconnor1 · 31/07/2018 13:16

It's a bland article in the Manchester evening news, understandable really, but credit to them that they have actually reported this while the big national papers are silent. It's also on the MEN Twitter feed.

AtreidesFreeWoman · 31/07/2018 13:18

Thinking about this statement from the NUS:

"NUS will continue to support Jess, full time officers, staff and volunteers during this time.”

I'm wondering if that extends to expensive legal support to try and keep the case out of the papers???

It's a possibility that would explain how JB could afford Carter Ruck....but they wouldn't/couldn't do that could they????

Bowlofbabelfish · 31/07/2018 13:19

Just read that pam.

If what they say and what people were alleging yesterday about the contents of the blog are correct, then that’s a police matter not just a work disciplinary.

mrnohips · 31/07/2018 13:19

I actually see a common drive between getting your cock out on a train and appearing on television saying that you identify as “a non-binary trans woman” and don’t believe there’s any such thing as a real woman.

The thrill of seeing what you can get away with, the feeling that you have something over the unsuspecting people (esp women) around you, and that frisson of excitement that comes from feeling that you may have pushed it too far and that this may be the time that you are challenged on your behaviour

It's very telling that the sexual deviants and the aggressive transgender people who are exposed, are, without exception ALL MALE TO FEMALE.

Female to male just get on with things. They don't have an egotistical need to change and stamp on the rights of men. They don't feel the need to threaten or use physical violence. They don't do creepy things like get their privates out in male spaces.

Nope, it's alway the MEN who want to become women that cause the probelms.

But men have always thrown their weight around and have always tried to dominate women and they have always lovedto fiddle with their cocks.

If a man is predisposed to the above and then 'transitions' to a 'woman', then those traits will still remain. No amount of hormones or surgery will change that.
It's in the dna.

Bowlofbabelfish · 31/07/2018 13:20

I'm wondering if that extends to expensive legal support to try and keep the case out of the papers???

Wouldn’t that make them biased in any workplace dispute? If the NUS are paying for this then it’s a terrible use of limited resources.

Ereshkigal · 31/07/2018 13:21

It may have disappeared by now, or the Times might let those comments stand. In other words, they would be publishing them into the public domain. We'll see.

They're still there that I can see. Great comments on that article.

Popchyk · 31/07/2018 13:22

Yeah, the MEN piece is clever. They do not venture into "privacy" territory because they've only reported Bradley's denial of the allegations, not the allegations themselves. And that's enough to make a story.

And of course anyone can then search for the details elsewhere on the Internet. If they are interested. Which many Manchester students will be.

Pratchet · 31/07/2018 13:24

The Times on Ann Sinnott has deleted a comment that said 't*f

sociopathsunited · 31/07/2018 13:25

haXXor Yep, that's exactly the state of affairs I can actually see developing. Lets face it, we already have perverts watching women and children in their own bedrooms, through hijacked webcams. We've got perverts installing hidden cameras in school changing rooms. We've got an entire group of people out there who respect absolutely no boundaries whatsoever. If no spaces are to be kept free of these people, then no space is safe for the most vulnerable members of society. It's like Lord of the Flies, pervert edition. The Beast is here, right in the heart of things, already.

Ereshkigal · 31/07/2018 13:25

I reported it and I expect others did too.

LemonJello · 31/07/2018 13:38

The Times on Ann Sinnott has deleted a comment that said 't*f

That’s amazing! The ride is truly turning now.

CaptainMarvelDanvers · 31/07/2018 13:56

I don’t understand why the argument of privacy is being used when reporting on this story.

She posted this on the internet, on her blog, once something is in the internet then it is in the public domain. The rest of the press should be able to report on this, especially after she also admitted it on the internet.

Also the idea that all kinks are equal is batshit crazy.

Bowlofbabelfish · 31/07/2018 13:59

I don’t understand why the argument of privacy is being used when reporting on this story.

People are interested in the cliff Richard ruling and the effect it will have in real life cases. There are very strong competing interests on both side - people who would like to muzzle the press from being able to report any allegations and people who want to be able to print anything.

In that light, this could be seen as a test case and jess themselves would be irrelevant to the interests involved

trumpetoftheswan · 31/07/2018 14:00

Regarding pronouns, my take is that someone renounces their 'right' to be called by a pronoun of their choice when they behave in ways that are consistent with a particular gender.

So, person going about their business in a fairly ordinary way. Absolutely will respect your chosen pronoun.

Person getting their dick out at work or on the bus? It doesn't matter what pronoun you choose, that's male behaviour and I'll call you 'he'. Not because I want to offend/traumatise/weaponise language, but because my perceptual system and brain can only see that as male behaviour. It does not fit with my experience of how women behave.

BTW, what does NATALT mean?
