Fair Play for Women are creating a campaign to inform everyone about women and girls' rights and the GRA.

It’s having an amazing surge of support, and now there is just one more day for it to run.

I'm going to add a few more quid before it closes, because as one donor says:

The future of women's and girls' rights in this country depends on the outcome of this campaign. If any man can just declare he's a woman, we won't be able to maintain single sex spaces in refuges & prisons, or single sex services like rape crisis centres. Our ability to organise independently from men to protect our rights will be threatened. Girls and women won't be able to define our own boundaries, or maintain private female spaces like changing rooms and toilets. This is an emergency for girls and women.

Who here has contributed and what were your reasons?

So pleased to see them getting closer to their target.

TallulahWaitingInTheRain · 14/07/2018 20:26

Thanks for the reminder!

Xiaoxiong · 14/07/2018 20:44

I contributed to get them over the £10k hurdle and I ticked anonymous since I always do for charity things. I kind of wish I hadn't now as I would love my name to be there. I guess I'll just have to donate againGrin

HotRocker · 14/07/2018 21:12

I have just donated. I will mither my girlfriend into donating as well. Shared on Facebook also.

ReluctantCamper · 14/07/2018 21:15

i donated when they had a £10k target and have donated again as we've ticked over into a new pay month

resources are needed to get the message out about the potential erasure of women's rights

i am both busy and lazy and don't do as much as I could / should. but i can give money

RailReplacementBusService · 14/07/2018 21:21

I contributed having read about it on here. I think it is important to give women a voice against the well resources TRAs. In the past I like many assumed transgender individuals were those who were actively changing their bodies to their desired genders.

I donated anonymously and hovered over the decision as to whether to provide my email address to the organisers. I’m afraid I took the coward’s route and went totally anonymous as my details being linked to this in public if the list ever got hacked would be very damaging to my Career. And doesn’t that just show what a shocking mess this is - women’s careers being damaged because they’d like women to be taken into account?

Farinthepast · 14/07/2018 21:22

I contributed. I have grave concerns about the aims and objectives of some of the large percentage of people who fall under the trans umbrella and retain male genitalia but claim to be women - and lesbians at that - based on my own lived experience.

ScrambledSmegs · 14/07/2018 21:41

Thanks for the reminder, have donated.

LastTrainEast · 14/07/2018 21:41

I donated on both phases and I'm really hoping they hit that £20K target.

A year ago I thought transgender referred to a handful of people with genetic abnormalities who needed all the help we could give them.

Transexuals still do deserve that help of course, but what I've learned about Transgender/Transactivism has shocked and worried me.

Flowersonthepiano · 14/07/2018 21:45

I donated. I haven't been this sure about an issue for a long time.

HermioneWeasley · 14/07/2018 21:48

Bump

Angryresister · 14/07/2018 21:49

Really hope they get enough to counter the extremely well funded cult. Donated because FPFW is consistently working on all the issues that matter the most

Trumpodious · 14/07/2018 22:02

Donated

OvaHere · 15/07/2018 00:04

I donated twice to this. FPFW have been doing sterling work around the legal and statistical implications of the GRA for women and girls.

QuarksandLeptons · 15/07/2018 05:58

I donated as the public needs to know that hard earned women’s rights are being dismantled by stealth.
Also that the trans agenda is massively funded by international corporations and an unbiased counterpoint is needed.

It's up to £18,550, 10 hours left.

MangoSplit · 15/07/2018 07:49

Donated and shared. Women deserve fair play.

SeaRabbit · 15/07/2018 08:25

Thanks for the message - I have donated.

BingBongSong · 15/07/2018 08:40

Thanks for the reminder. I have donated.

yearofthewoman · 15/07/2018 09:02

I contributed as the Emperor has no clothes on! People need to hear other people saying this!

People cannot change sex. Men cannot become actual women. Puberty blockers and cross sex hormones are not "safe".

Asking questions whether TW have male or female pattern violence isn't bigotry, it's putting the safety of women and girls over men's feelings, and we must do this if we're a just society.

We need to burst this bubble of delusion before it gets made into law and erodes the hard-won rights of women and girls.

gendercritter · 15/07/2018 09:07

I've donated. I think FPFW are doing absolutely fantastic work

LangCleg · 15/07/2018 09:09

Almost at £19k now. This is so heartening.

FPFW are so good at picking out the detail, particularly with regard to safeguarding frameworks, which is my main area of interest and my biggest worry.

Very succinctly put. Their work is so important.

Over the 19k mark now! 7 hours to go.

EmpressWeaponisedClitoris · 15/07/2018 10:44

I've donated twice. I think FPFW's work is crucial for women & girls.
