Alison is a legend - she was such an inspiration when I was younger.

Reading some of the bile directed at her is awful.

She had similar happen about a year ago over something she said. She was getting all muddled up in her trans speak and sounded a bit clueless. It was funny - she sounded a bit dim.

I found Alison's tweets in the early hours of this morning where she's clearly upset quite distressing.

She obviously has a lot of talent and is also a very decent person. She has done a lot for the LGBT community but the T part of that doesn't care when they spot an opportunity to bully a woman. I suspect Rarest of birds may be the last LGBT song she writes and LGB are the groups that lose out.
