Perhaps like a lot of people still think she thinks that trans women have all had the full surgery?

I don't think there is a peak. I keep thinking I've reached it and then, a few hours or days later, it happens again. It's like an Escher drawing.

She is still on the bit where she thinks you're allowed to think it through and draw your own boundaries as to what is reasonable, and hers are to maintain her own identity while being jolly decent to transwomen. She is right now discovering that that's not how it works - you're a woman so you don't get a say.
She is yet to do the digging in which you find out what is really going on, but this will open her eyes.

No, she won't have ever been refused a job or beaten up for being cis. And that is why cis is not a useful political identity, woman is. And we are being told 'cis' is what we must identify as - purely to destroy our unified political identity as women.

Taking all the am I/am I not cis out of the equation, I have brown hair. I have never been discriminated against on that basis. But it's a bit like I have been told I must identify primarily as a brown haired person.
