I've still not got my head around the 'born a little differently to us definition.
I personally feel strongly that this is yet another phrase that has been 'appropriated' by the trans activist movement. A decade ago, most of us would recognise this phrase as those who had a physical or mental disability that meant they were discriminated against- and that society needed to change to be more inclusive and less judgemental.
But now it's been appropriated by a group that is forcing its way into other people's rights, protections and boundaries in a completely different way to the earlier 'born different' terminology - where do the boundaries stop?
People who want to identify as a different race? Born a little differently to us
People who feel they're disabled and want to remove limbs? Born a little differently to us
People who feel attracted to under-age people? Born a little differently to us
And no, I'm not conflating these groups into one single group and implying that anyone who identifies as someone in this group holds the categories of other 'born a little differently', but I'm wondering where the boundaries stop at? (And have noticed that, whilst not conflating these groups, there does seem to be some crossover at the extreme ends of each group).
