Madam JoJos closed a few years back but there was talk of it reopening (unsure if it actually has or is still on Brewer Street). I used to go there a lot way, way back in the day.

pickle on their facebook page there is a LOT of comments. Most are are anger at women because people are obviously not looking.

That's because most women, or even a group of women simply couldn't "beat the living shit" out of a man. I'm not going to get into whether or not women would want to. The fact is that biological women (XX), are usually weaker and slower than men.

My DD1 once asked why Usain Bolt was only running against other men. My answer was because adult men are faster than adult women (as a class). A lot faster, a lot stronger. It's just the way it is. Life isn't always fair. Women can gestate, give birth to and breastfeed children which is something men can't do.

I really think that learning the practical limits of what you can achieve is a key to happiness. This whole 'you can be anything you want to be' (patently untrue) generation is causing a lot of unhappiness.

DH would have loved to have been an astronaut but has terrible eyesight and at the time you needed 20/20 vision. He's done something else very well.

How do we find out whether the crime has been recorded as by men or by women?

If crimes by people born male are recorded as being perpetrated by women it skews crime statistics which are then used against the class of women in order to say women are violent too or women are not vulnerable and do not need single sex spaces.

Sorry for the slight derail, it's just driving me bonkers that we're supposed to pretend that men and women have the same physical capabilities. They don't.

From a public safety and point of view its also quite worrying if the news site misreports facts. Obviously sometimes sex is irrelevant but not in the case of violent crime.

The man being beaten could have been a physical threat to a woman of the XX variety. To the people stomping on him, though? Especially a whole group of them?
