I understand why some women are making the decision to leave rather than risk being banned.

I'm not aware that MN are applying new guideline retrospectively.

The MNHQ said they would not retroactively delete and ban but I see no reason to think they might not change their minds given enough threats from the right people. Particularly since they recently deleted a thread for the OPs link containing a forbidden word.
