I've noticed a lot of people in this thread using 'they' and 'she' pronouns for this person, who I understand to be male.
Is this part of the new rules? Because it's a MAJOR problem and this sort of case is exactly why. Forcing people to use incorrect pronouns is part of the gaslighting/brainwashing thing.
These two sentences create very different impressions and for very good reason:
"She was told she was not allowed to use the women's room and the bouncer forcibly removed her." - That's an outrage!
"He was told he was not allowed to use the women's room and the bouncer forcibly removed him." - Well, yeh, of course.
Even if we intellectually understand that this person is male using the incorrect pronouns out of politeness or conformity to rules can't help but create cognitive dissonance that makes it hard to think clearly and critically.
