Male who IDs as female calls police after being denied entry to female toilets

Reading the fawning responses you’d think this person had been assaulted or worse.

And not a thought for the women in the toilets who might have felt uncomfortable. There never is.

I'm pretty sure Clymer had a total male rage meltdown in that restaurant and that's the reason he was booted.

Now, of course, the transactivists are trying to get the manager of the restaurant fired and so forth.

One respondant to Clymer's meltdown compared him to Rosa Parks. Hmm

Clymer would have to prove they ejected him because he was transgender rather than because he behaved badly.
The right to refuse service laws that cover the food an beverage industry are really interesting.

Still don't see the problem, I thought that equility of the sexs was what the feminist wanted.

In intimate spaces? Hmm

53rdWay · 23/06/2018 22:17

Thanks for that incisive insight, ‘Vicky’.

No, Feminism is the political movement for the liberation of women.
It was the men in the backlash that tried to convince everyone that Feminism should be about equality for everyone because
3rd rule of misogyny: Women speaking for themselves are exclusionary and selfish.

This has been explained to you numerous times and yet you continue to post the same thing over and over. There is a name for that, I think.

Ok, going to repost my UK experience of today again.

Walk into a door that states 'all gender accessible toilets' to two doors - one very cleary with a male symbol on the door. Through that door's small window I can clearly see multiple stalls, but don't investigate further.

To the right is one disabled toilet which states it has an accessible shower too.

Where am I, as an able-bodied female, meant to go? Vicky? That isn't equality. That's erasure of females. To the detriment of male and female disabled people.

Vicky1990 · 23/06/2018 22:44

Females who ID as men are allowed to use men's toilets, is that a problem, haven't heard any protest about that.

Rufustheyawningreindeer · 23/06/2018 22:46

aven't heard any protest about that

Not likely to on the feminist board

SoddingUnicorns · 23/06/2018 22:47

Welcome to the new masters, looking suspiciously similar to the old masters

That’s chilling.

RhythmStix · 23/06/2018 22:52

If I'd been in those toilets I would have left them swiftly then announced my intention to urinate in a private area away from beings with penises. Like the manager's office. Then I'd piss all over the manager's floor and let them clean it up. Simples.

thebewilderness · 23/06/2018 22:56

You have not been paying attention, Vicky. The police were called on the Man Friday.

ChiefClerkDrumknott · 23/06/2018 23:02

That’s chilling

It is. I’m furious and horrified in equal measures Sad

pombear · 23/06/2018 23:09

Vicky not sure if you're replying to me, or ignoring me. Can't quite make out who you're replying to re. the 'females who ID as men'.

(And, by the way, your comment about 'females who ID as men could' be seen as transphobic, as surely those '(wo)men' may well have always known they've been 'men' so they're not 'females who ID as men, but just 'men' if you follow the translogic...well, the translogic that seems to apply to the people who were born with male genitalia who ID as women, as it doesn't seem to apply so much to females trying to identify out of female, as your post highlights) PS Mumsnet, if this is reported, I'm following Vicky's language, so this cannot possibly be transphobic language!

I'll ask again.

Today, for me, as a female, who walked into 'all gender toilets' to have to choose between 'male' or 'disabled' (not wanting to take the space allocated to disabled people, both male and female) where is my space?

I don't ID as a man.

Where is my space?

thebewilderness · 23/06/2018 23:16

One of the odd things about US law is that sex is not a protected characteristic as it is in the UK.
There are specific laws giving certain rights to females, like the 19th amendment (votes for women) and Title IX of the Civil Rights Act (no sex discrimination in education funded by federal government).
The ERA did not pass so there is no Constitutional protections against discrimination for the female half of the population as such.

pombear · 23/06/2018 23:26

I know I'm not being very 'feminist theory' here, or necessarily following the tone of the thread.

But, I've had a glass of wine (last time I admitted that, I was PMed for my sins! ONE (1) glass this time, I promise!).

Today I physically experienced the gender fuckery, as my previous post.

I don't want my child to experience the same.

To walk through the 'accessible for all genders' door to find that there is NO space exclusively for females.

To walk through the 'accessible for all genders' door to find that the only space they might be qualified to use is the disabled space, which was created for people with disabilities because they have specific needs.

To find that there is no door with the symbol for 'women' on it.

Society has malfunctioned, seriously.

It's not all about toilets, but today, my experience reminded me that toilets are part of this fuckery. :-(

ChiefClerkDrumknott · 23/06/2018 23:35

I’m sorry you experienced this, it’s truly shite. However, this appears to be the new world order. Women have never mattered but now it’s overt. Our right to say what is a woman is being erased and we are overtly being put in our place. I am angry and fuckwits like the man (and he is a man) in the OP are revelling in their triumph over us

MrsTerryPratchett · 24/06/2018 00:10

Still don't see the problem, I thought that equility of the sexs was what the feminist wanted.

Either you are being incredibly disingenuous, in which case = goady fucker. Or you are really this confused about women's right on EVERY THREAD. If you are, why not read a little feminism before commenting.

AngryAttackKittens · 24/06/2018 00:23

There's a lot of stuff I'm not really buying in this story given this person's extensive internet history, but this part really jumped out.

"At that point, I went to a place of anger that I do not visit often".

Um. Google is a thing and your surname hasn't changed.

LinoleumBlownapart · 24/06/2018 00:35

AngryAttackKittens I thought the same thing, I very much doubt this played out like this person described in the tweets. It sounds very like a fantasy scenario that was probably helped along.

DontDrinkDontSmoke · 24/06/2018 00:38

What a fucking waste of police resources.

Of course blokes dressed as women shouldn’t be going into a female toilet.
