Many women with concerns over safety, dignity and privacy are left-wing.

Next week the Labour party will be be sent legal action via the high court, over AWS.

I've had enough of people trying to rename male violence and intimation as a left/right political issue.

I also dislike the implication that women should ignore threats of male violence.

I our lives we learn that when men threaten us, the threats are often credible.

We are told to keep on alert, trust our instincts, be cautious, "watch ourselves" etc.

And here is a bomb threat about a matter that has already had loads of other threats some of them acted on -

It's only a matter of time before extremist transactivism has its own Elliot Rodger. I really believe that. And if people like Clare don't want the backlash falling on them, they're going to have stop with the NATALT and actually start standing up against the threats.

Trans people can marry, work, have access to housing and so forth, what rights do they need, that don't involve disadvantage to half the population, who are a disadvantaged group based on their biological sex caste?

I frame it as nasty man is seeking to cause trouble for trans people. I hope no-one is deterred from going to an AWP meeting because of it; but anyone who assumes it is a trans person making the threat is further angered against trans people, or some trans people, or some trans activists- and that does trans people no good.

Loads of men have a low level dislike for women, espeically when they do not do as they are expected / told. A significant minority of men dislike women so much they are prepared to attack them (in a variety of ways).

This is the age old story of men getting angry at women saying NO. It is absolutely not a left / right issue. Women of the left and the right and the middle and the none all get the same shit from men.

Even if he is some random troll, you're missing the point clare.

He (assuming "he") is threatening women who want to get together to talk, which he says is in retaliation for the Man Friday event.

He doesn't want women to shut up about juggling or car maintenance or French literature, does he? He wants women to stop talking about gender and misogyny and the harmful impact of trans activism.

In the context of constant, constant, CONSTANT threats, harrasment, doxings, violence, intimidation and hatred directed towards women by extreme transactivists and misogynists who claim to be protecting your right to "be welcomed into women's spaces"

Also, a note on that. Women not objecting to things that they may perceive to be threatening doesn't mean they're happy about it. They may just simply melt away rather than confront. You know this, right? Absence of complaint can't be read as endorsement.

This is from USA tactics isn't it. When someone "on your side" does something you disagree with, you say oh that person is actually a double agent. They are working for the enemy.

Maybe this guy's twitter account is a handle for Julie Bindel or Germaine Greer? Yes that sounds way more likely than it being an angry man who is heeding the calls to take violent action against women who have the temetiry to say no to men.
