Trans activists have really shot themselves in the foot. Here everything we say is public so they can read it. Now, many of us have joined a totally private forum where you can't even see the names of the members unless you log in. It is also giving women a much freer reign to say what they want and we can swear.

So fuck you TRA, you knew what we were saying here, now you won't have a fucking clue, all you can do is guess.

I don't think a private forum is shooting the TRAs in the foot. it just means the discussion will disappear from the public.

Both are useful but MN is vital, even if we have to avoid speaking the truth. That is itself tells us a lot about this movement, that they felt the need to attack and muzzle women. Not men, not Reddit or all the male forums that have so much vile misogyny and transphobia.

They wanted to silence mums. they are really cross with mums.

but I will stay here because I think moving to a private board means that we have been moved and corralled. I think my views on gender and sex are evidence based, and that I am more than able to put my argument across, including argument around language and policing. I think if too many leave these boards then there is less chance of lurkers and the general public being exposed to gender critical debate and argument.

I think we need a private place to talk AND to carry on talking here, even if we have to go to stupid lengths to mind our language.

MN reaches many more people than actually post, the new rules and the bullying behaviour of those who want to close down all our spaces will help spread the word, not hinder it.
