So this person with the precancerous lesion of the cervix has a husband and they're banging on about being misgendered? Am I missing something mahoosive here?

I suspect the twitterati identifies as gender queer / non-binary / etc.

It seems the person is a long-haired female presenting (whatever that means, but I think it means s/he - no intention to misgender, honest, I don't know her "pronouns" - wears dresses) transperson with a biologically female body who wants to be referred to as a man.

It's very confusing.

I think s/he/they are also identify as homosexual as his/her/their husband is a man. Whether he is a man or identifies as a man, I have no idea. Presumably if he is also genetically female bodied they are lesbians, no? In the traditional sense anyway.

Surely to goodness this person is so special there can't be many of them, so rewriting an entire charity's marketing material to allow for the very few of them there are is one massive waste of resources.

I get that this post will be held up as an example of transphobia and laughing at/belittling the "queer" community, but I truly, honestly genuinely have no fucking clue how to talk about this stuff. I want to shove my fingers in my ears and scream.

I am the proud father of a strong girl who is a budding Spartacus.

I am also the loving husband of a strong woman, and the caring son of a strong mother.

I am a pissed off father, husband and son, who does not want any male-bodied person to appropriate my female relatives' sex, nor to take away their right to be safe from embarrassment or aggression by males in places that were designed to be exclusively for females.

I am an angry father wondering how best to protect his family from this f*ing nonsense.
