The Mail has the beef on 'Paris Green'.

The salient facts, beyond the foaming about the sex change op.

Sorry to hear about your daughter Thanks

BakedBeans47 · 10/06/2018 12:36

I’m going to write to my MSP about this. It’s a disgrace.

drinkswineoutofamug · 10/06/2018 12:37

Just want to point out that my daughter is an idiot and in prison for no fault but her own. I do not condone her actions what so ever. But I will fight to make sure she gets basic proper medical care. I have been jumped on before for supporting her.

Bowlofbabelfish · 10/06/2018 12:43

Horrendous. And having sex with female prisoners in their cell? Aren’t we always being told that gosh no there’s no way a TIM could access a female prisoner alone.

hackmum · 10/06/2018 13:19

All things considered, isn't it better for everyone if this person is castrated? I can't really see any downsides.

SoaringSwallow · 10/06/2018 13:51

Hack but castration doesn't end urges, just the ability to rape (ie with a penis). The desire to dominate women doesn't disappear, neither does the physical advantage over women (as in the ones born that way!).

SoaringSwallow · 10/06/2018 13:54

@drinkswineoutofamug I remember you from before then. I'm sorry she's back in and this ridiculous situation with meds is reoccurring. Prison is supposed to be punishment by removal from society, not physical suffering due to healthcare withdrawal.

CantankerousCamel · 10/06/2018 13:56

The problem is that if you offer the general public ‘sex change’ opperations because they ‘need’ them, then that need covers prisoners too.

Actually the NHS shouldn’t be funding any of this

SoaringSwallow · 10/06/2018 13:59

But does that mean female prisoners with very bad backs caused by large breasts are eligible for breast reductions? Which, incidentally code far less than GRS. I'm doubting it.

AncientLights · 10/06/2018 14:02

This all just proves the power of the Trans Brigade. But they have the money: why don't they get George Soros to fund these ops?

@drinkswineoutofamug Flowers
I'm sure I read somewhere that prisoners are as entitled to healthcare as anyone else, just can't chose their provider (this is your DD, not the despicable man who's the subject of this thread). This is an awful way to treat your DD: they must realise what could happen if she has a seizure and bangs her head? They'd be in the shit then

Sorry for the derail.

QuackPorridgeBacon · 10/06/2018 14:39

I just don’t understand why shit like this is allowed? Yet someone’s daughter is allowed her life to be risked by not being given medication that is actually needed. It’s crazy.

drinkswineoutofamug I remeber your thread from before and I’m angry for you that it’s happening again. I cannot understand their thinking.

lightthedarkness · 10/06/2018 14:55

It's all completely bonkers!
On one had there are TAs insisting on this very board that there are no mental health issues involved with being transgender while the HHS currently invests megabucks ( and is proposing to invest far more) in what is apparently a personal lifestyle choice while the NHS is unable to treat countless people for cancers, mental health problems, birth injuries and so on..... Completely immoral.

Singlenotsingle · 11/06/2018 11:36

Surely if a person has grown up with XY chromosomes and all those male hormones flooding his body all those years, he's a man? Just removing his male sex organs isn't going to change that? He'll still be 6ft 2" with big hands and feet,? If he's lived his life with a tendency to aggression, that's not going to change. Why on earth are precious funds being wasted just to indulge him when there are genuine cases needing that money?

drinkswineoutofamug · 11/06/2018 18:28

One more derail and I'm done. Spoke to the prison and med situation is sorted.

AncientLights · 11/06/2018 19:38

Very glad to hear that, Drinkswine

Do we know about this one?

www.thesun.co.uk/news/6804433/transgender-lag-sexually-abused-four-female-prisoners-days-after-arriving-at-west-yorkshire-jail/

A TRANSGENDER prisoner has been accused of sexually assaulting four female inmates after being sent to a women’s prison.

The first of the alleged attacks took place within days of her arriving at New Hall jail, Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

The inmate was sent there despite not having had gender reassignment surgery.

It is claimed she was visibly aroused when she allegedly assaulted the first inmate.

She was originally sent on remand to New Hall women’s prison after a judge heard how she had been living as a female for more than two years.

The alleged attacks will reignite the debate over whether transgender prisoners should be sent to women’s jails before they have had surgery.

It is claimed the first attack happened within days of the transgender prisoner’s arrival at high-security New Hall, Wakefield, West Yorks.

The alleged victim — an inmate with whom she had struck up a friendship — said the remand prisoner stood close to her and touched her arm while her erect penis was sticking out from the top of her trousers.

It is alleged she subsequently made inappropriate comments about oral sex to another prisoner before giving her a bear hug.

A third alleged victim says she was also attacked.

And a fourth woman prisoner claims she was kissed on the neck.

The transgender prisoner has now been sent to a Category B men’s jail.

The latest figures show there were 125 transgender prisoners in England and Wales at the end of March 2017, up from 70 a year earlier.

At the moment transgender women can only legally change their gender on their birth certificate if they have been medically diagnosed with gender dysphoria and have lived as a woman for two years.

This is the rule often used by judges when they are deciding whether to send transgender prisoners to a male or female prison.

Under current rules transgender inmates are able to dictate how they are both searched and addressed by prison officers.

They can also benefit from greater freedom in how they dress and can shower and wash clothes in private.

Prison authorities have been forced to issue new regulations following a rapid rise in the number of transgender inmates and concern about their treatment.

Transgender prisoners first won the right to have gender surgery in 1999.

Lifer and convicted kidnapper John Pilley, now 64, and five other prisoners launched legal action to have surgery on the NHS.

Last year The Sun told how a double rapist who had £10,000 NHS gender surgery in prison was moved to a women’s jail.

Jessica Winfield, born Martin Ponting, attacked two girls but is now in HMP Bronzefield, Surrey.

Meanwhile an MNer who has lost 20 stone has been told the NHS wont remove the loose skin despite the risk of infections.

HelenaDove · 17/07/2018 23:04

This is the thread................it shows some of the attitudes towards people who have tackled their weight.

That article needs to be posted as its own thread @NotTerfNorCis
It's a different issue to this and people need to know about it.
(because there is no risk to women and this never happens)

NotTerfNorCis · 17/07/2018 23:09

Some people are just mean, HelenaDove.

NotTerfNorCis · 17/07/2018 23:10

@VoiceOfReason Ok I'll create one.

UglyCathKidstonBag · 17/07/2018 23:40

Fuck this for a game of soldiers.

I work in a severely under resourced ED department in a hospital that bore the brunt of dealing with a terrorist attack last year. Some of the victims of that attack are still waiting for parts of their treatment to start.

There are patients who come through our doors weekly, who are on various waiting lists for a variety of treatments who are waiting multiple months if not years. They wait quietly and patiently at home, in agonising pain and are forced come to us because, without their desperately needed specialist treatment they will die and all we can do from here is put them back together, prop them up artificially or temporarily and send them onto an assessment ward where they will hang around for days until a bed becomes available on a suitable ward. That ward will be where they are told they are already on the list for the treatment they need.

The NHS is hanging on by a thread. A&Es are rebranding to Emergency Departments to deter people from attending with serious but less than life threatening accidents. We still want and need to (and do) treat these people but the NHS is genuinely rebranding departments to discourage genuinely ill people from attending.

Supporting this will break the NHS and it will break soon.

"are on various waiting lists for a variety of treatments who are waiting multiple months if not years. They wait quietly and patiently at home, in agonising pain "

And could be at risk of losing their jobs and homes while they are waiting.
