Bosom hoicked, Radio 4 on.

Melamin · 29/05/2018 17:05

Congratulation fellas, you have made it to the opening titles of R4 pm. I never thought I would see the day Grin

You have to be a man to be noticed Wink

(On a cynical note, why does anyone have to go this far to get noticed Angry)

Melamin · 29/05/2018 17:07

Oh feck, I have just read the previous posts and see they have wheeled out the usual suspect (the one that says women have thin skulls when you hit them ) yet again. I am not going to enjoy this Sad

Kettlepotblack · 29/05/2018 17:08

Radio 4 on for me too and petition signed.

I was about to come here to say that I wanted to throw my phone at the wall reading some of the DM comments, but see it's already being discussed! A surprising number were much more supportive than I expected, it was clear many assumed it was a general protest about women not being allowed in the men's pool, but actually many actually 'got it'! Let's hope it gives this campaign some momentum now!

OlennasWimple · 29/05/2018 17:09

Bravo fellows, good show. I especially love the mankini, though the pink swim hat must surely be deserving of its own Twitter account by now

AsAProfessionalFekko · 29/05/2018 17:10

I can't listen to R4 as my blood pressure is already a bit high today...

Ekphrasis · 29/05/2018 17:11

Thanks for the sweary G talk link; I completely identify with her experiences (in different ways) and how they led her to radical Feminism.

OfSpartacus · 29/05/2018 17:13

Radio 4 on! Good luck!

AsAProfessionalFekko · 29/05/2018 17:19

Ooooooooohhhhhhh

GenderApostate · 29/05/2018 17:20

The ManFriday chaps need medals, they are modern day Suffragettes 💐

So grateful for your activism.

Cecily75 · 29/05/2018 17:22

On Radio 4 now!!!!!

SwearyG · 29/05/2018 17:23

Oh nooooo Jane Fae isn't impressed.

Tawdry self publicity.

Twat.

Not about the law, about policies that are enacted by "woke" companies.

ToeToToe · 29/05/2018 17:25

I'm surprised Jane can get any words out at all, with all that sighing.

Go Amy! Star

spontaneousgiventime · 29/05/2018 17:27

Ooooo JF doing badly this interview, well done Amy.

Cuntysnark · 29/05/2018 17:29

Amy was awesome. Well done!

nauticant · 29/05/2018 17:29

Very good performance Amy. You got a lot in and avoided being sidetracked.

As usual Jane Fae is making very clear that they would be best kept away from spaces reserved for women.

Waddlelikeapenguin · 29/05/2018 17:29

Oh I cant listen just now good luck Amy Star (or a manly punch on the arm if you prefer Grin)

spontaneousgiventime · 29/05/2018 17:29

Amy 1-0 JF Star

TeaCoffeeCakeGinWine · 29/05/2018 17:30

Nice work Amy! 👏👏👏👏

So much breathlessness from Jane Fae.. after all, that is what is women do, just a lot of breathless sighing

Melamin · 29/05/2018 17:31

Well done Amy. That was fantastic.

They listened and questioned for once.

I think it helped that Amy was in the studio - the one on the phone always seems to be on the back foot.

I was doing something with a hammer and JF helped it along nicely Smile.

JF's huffing and blowing at the beginning seems to be a comic signature.

SwearyG · 29/05/2018 17:31

Amy you wiped the floor with Fae. What a horror "that's only one case" - one case is too fucking many, you self-righteous bellend.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 29/05/2018 17:42

ManFriday also mentioned in this BBC report

I'm actually pretty impressed the BBC has covered this, and the twitter bannings. Fairly balanced article too.

Cecily75 · 29/05/2018 17:47

Well done Amy, calm and to the point. No need for huffing and sighing Grin

How can JF say that Amy "misrepresented" this Hampstead Pond incident? JF wasn't there, unlike Amy...

boatyardblues · 29/05/2018 17:47

Amy 1-0 JF

Seconded. You were very good. DH listened in the car on the way home and commented on your calm, measured delivery. Martin Ponting was a good pick to counter the usual “that’ll never happen” narrative.

boatyardblues · 29/05/2018 17:49

The TRAs really need to stop wheeling Jane Fae out. JF really cannot debate the issues effectively.
