Dr Adrian Harrop - Dr Misogyny is pursuing another woman.

Dr Adrian Harrop now has Dawn Furness in his metaphorical gun sights. He has sent a series of Tweets to The Green Party to point them to the fact she is appearing at a Woman's Place meeting soon and that she must state her position on trans rights. This is a deliberate attempt to capitalise on his success in getting Olivia Palmer suspended.

It is an act dripping in pure hatred of women.

The idea that women who won’t shut up and obey orders have been ‘radicalised’ is straight out, old fashioned male chauvinist piggery.

MN is a radicalised witches and bitches coven according to him n his mates - all in plain public sight - 😂😂🤣 - are they sane?

Sounds like the language of medieval times and The Spanish Inquisition - maybe it's The Scarborough Inquisition with a staff of one student in training

Datun · 31/07/2018 11:12

Dear Lord. Those tweets. I'm really beginning to understand the increased use of the word flailing on here.

NameChangedAgain18 · 31/07/2018 11:13

Perhaps he should put his money where his mouth is and report us to the counter-terrorism police.

Alicethroughtheblackmirror · 31/07/2018 11:13

Just picked up from that screen shot that he actually used the word "covern".

Is he completely incapable of understanding how toxic his choice of language is?

Popchyk · 31/07/2018 11:15

How the hell does he have time to do all this?

Thought junior doctors were busy people?

Hope he hasn't been neglecting patients while he is hounding women online.

I'd be looking at the timing of those tweets and see if any of them were made when he was on shift.

Harrop has quite clearly breached NHS England social media policy. www.england.nhs.uk/publication/social-media-and-attributed-digital-content-policy/

ï‚· Respect your audience. Don't use personal insults, obscenities, or engage in
any conduct that would not be acceptable in the workplace. You should also
show proper consideration for others' privacy and for topics that may be
considered objectionable or inflammatory, such as politics and religion;
ï‚· Be aware of your association with NHS England when using online social
networks. If you identify yourself, or are identifiable, as an employee of the
organisation, ensure your profile and related content is consistent with how
you wish to present yourself to colleagues and stakeholders. Be aware that
you may be identified as an employee by any public use of your NHSmail
email address;
ï‚· Don't pick fights, be the first to correct your own mistakes, and don't change
previous posts without indicating that you have done so;

NameChangedAgain18 · 31/07/2018 11:18

I doubt he is working for the NHS these days. I suspect he is being funded from elsewhere.

SunsetBeetch · 31/07/2018 11:22

He seems to have his own business. No idea what it does though. But I agree with others that he's striving for a media career. He's absolutely blown his chances now of course.

EntropicTupperwareDrawer · 31/07/2018 11:24

He seems to have his own business

Ducking stool salesman?

Male chauvinist pig farming?

So many options for the gynephobe around town...

Ereshkigal · 31/07/2018 11:24

These people are nuts. Now they're trying to claim DARVO.

Of course they are. Classic TRA reversal. Harrop has been abusing, spreading doxxing and harassing women online for months.

Sarahconnor1 · 31/07/2018 11:25

I doubt he is working for the NHS these days

I would be suprised if he was still employed by them but his Twitter page still says NHS doctor

hackmum · 31/07/2018 11:29

I don't think his contract of employment would be with NHS England - it would be with an individual trust, wouldn't it? I imagine they all have similar social media policies, though.

Ereshkigal · 31/07/2018 11:32

I think there may be NHS England guidelines around social media/comms that they would expect trusts to adhere to.

Popchyk · 31/07/2018 11:32

Nah, it is just tawdry old capitalism.

He is drumming up business here. It is a marketing campaign.

He'll set up shop as a private GP specialising in gender issues, which will have a waiting list before he even starts due to his Twitter publicity campaign, and will prescribe puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones to children that he's never even seen.

He'll make his money and then skip the country in 10 years when the lawsuits come in.

Sarahconnor1 · 31/07/2018 11:35

Yes all the trust's have very similar policies.

He is now going after Ann Sinnott and criticising her book about breast feeding older children. The book in question is about BF up to 2 years which aligns with WHO guidance

BoreOfWhabylon · 31/07/2018 11:37

He's a GP in training. GPs don't actually work for the NHS. All doctors are governed by the GMC though.

He certainly appears to be in breach of the GMC Social Media Policynlinked by Sarahconnor1.

I also suspect someone else may be using his Twitter from time to time.

hackmum · 31/07/2018 11:38

Thanks for the links, Sunset. I was particularly shocked by the one in which he agreed that little girls of 12 being forced to marry adult men was simply a "cultural" difference, and that we shouldn't impose Western standards. It makes me feel faintly sick to think that someone like that is trusted with treating women and girls.

BoreOfWhabylon · 31/07/2018 11:38

Popchyk's nailed it. He's not played his hand well though.

LangCleg · 31/07/2018 11:38

I'm really beginning to understand the increased use of the word flailing on here.

I think flailing is a good, short term for the general tactic of throwing out as many insults, as much DARVO and as much distraction as you can in the hope that something sticks.

Mrskeats · 31/07/2018 11:39

He was down as at a and e in Scarborough in January. He is defo registered as practising though. He’s in breach of social media rules without question.

BoreOfWhabylon · 31/07/2018 11:40

Sorry, should have said doctors are not employed by the NHS. They contract their services to them.

Ereshkigal · 31/07/2018 11:40

I think flailing is a good, short term for the general tactic of throwing out as many insults, as much DARVO and as much distraction as you can in the hope that something sticks.

So much this.

What?! FFS. He really does despise women.
