Dr Adrian Harrop - Dr Misogyny is pursuing another woman.

Dr Adrian Harrop now has Dawn Furness in his metaphorical gun sights. He has sent a series of Tweets to The Green Party to point them to the fact she is appearing at a Woman's Place meeting soon and that she must state her position on trans rights. This is a deliberate attempt to capitalise on his success in getting Olivia Palmer suspended.

It is an act dripping in pure hatred of women.

I see on Twitter people are trying to draw the gmc’s attention to his behaviour which is completely outrageous. Can they ignore this? How are people who encounter him as patients supposed to react if they are aware of this? He seems to have no awareness of appropriate boundaries at all!

SunsetBeetch · 30/07/2018 22:21

A lot of people think this is a sock account of Harrop's. It's certainly an odd one.

Oh us horrible womyn! How dare we think our lady brains are equipped to cope with witty and erudite Adrian (he got a GCSE in a non lady subject!).

I wonder what his mother thinks.

I wonder if he is proud that he setting back sex equality by a generation.

I'm not on Twitter (because I'm scared!). But I hope you're ok lippy x

AngryAttackKittens · 30/07/2018 22:31

"As Adrian, I find Adrian totally amazing"

LangCleg · 30/07/2018 22:33

This is an ancient but still popular man made myth about women. The claim that the place we gather to discuss ideas is responsible for putting ideas into our head.

This! They'd rather witch hunt than admit that women are actually thinking human beings in their own right. Gatherings of women must be supervised at all times.

Bespin · 30/07/2018 22:37

this is quite amazing to watch in real time from both sides, it sums up what this debate as become really. I'm watching it on here and twitter and its amazingly tit for tat.

AngryAttackKittens · 30/07/2018 22:37

Kind of like how we're totally weak and pathetic and yet at the same time have too much power.

Bespin · 30/07/2018 22:38

sorry posted to see if I end up on twitter sort of like. waving ya hand in one of them infinity mirrors to see what happens.

SunsetBeetch · 30/07/2018 22:39

Well Adrian's certainly a massive tit.

Bespin · 30/07/2018 22:39

sorry for the derail it was just for my own private interest.

thebewilderness · 30/07/2018 22:40

"tit for tat"?
Between the doxxer and his victim? The harasser and his target? Criminy!

JackyHolyoake · 30/07/2018 22:40

Ho ho! Harass is off again. See the projection here [and scroll upthread to see outrageous gaslighting!]

Lols. Charming and approachable

Feck that made me laugh

Like a fake erm review

AngryAttackKittens · 30/07/2018 22:44

He never uses 10 words when he can use half a thesaurus, huh?

AngryAttackKittens · 30/07/2018 22:45

Like a fake erm review

Like when you check a restaurant out on Yelp the top favorable review was definitely not posted by the owner's cousin.

Lovelybitofterf · 30/07/2018 22:52

He’s obviously trying to build himself a media career. Not on our watch Dr Harrap. You can just see him wrinkling his nose and choking back the bit of sick in his mouth when thinking about obstetrics, let alone having to perform any procedures of that nature.

Anyone who claims that men can have babies has absolutely no business in medicine, even if they weren’t actively trying to make women feel unsafe.

Sparkyduchess · 30/07/2018 23:26

I got deleted earlier for describing someone as creepy. Truly did not think I’d said anything noteworthy.

IAmInsignificunt · 30/07/2018 23:26

The image in the background of his Twitter bio is of Liverpool. Is he employed in the city? I work there occasionally, in the same field.

littlbrowndog · 30/07/2018 23:30

Oh yeah kittens he is like a fake restaurant review. Hahah

Pratchet · 30/07/2018 23:41

nyone who claims that men can have babies has absolutely no business in medicine, even if they weren’t actively trying to make women feel unsafe
A recent elected member of the BMA council admitted he doesn't know what a woman is.

ErrolTheDragon · 30/07/2018 23:59

A recent elected member of the BMA council admitted he doesn't know what a woman is.

As a matter of interest, did anyone ask him if he knew what a man is?

Pratchet · 31/07/2018 00:02

James Haddock, from Doctors 4 🙄 Progress. Asked 'what is a woman' he said i'm not sure I know the answer if I'm honest

He used to be a rather free tweeter but has quietened down. I wonder if he is appalled by other Drs tweeting such misogyny, and it rather put him off.

Pratchet · 31/07/2018 00:03

No Errol they didn't!

IfNotNowThenWhen1 · 31/07/2018 01:07

It's so odd to me that these people use "white, heterosexual, non trans" (won't repeat the C word) as insults to women on MN, as if those things are inherently bad. It's also very strange how they think they know that noone posting on MN could possibly be black, brown, gay...it's quite racist and homophobic to assume that every woman who actively cares about safeguarding women and girls must automatically be some stereotype white middle class married mum. There's nothing wrong with being those things but lots of us are not!
Do they really think that these issues don't affect all women, regardless of race, status and sexuality??
Sorry Dj . I don't do Twitter but I can tell you are shaken up. This twat is a fucking bully for all to see .

thebewilderness · 31/07/2018 03:22

The implication seems to me to be that if you are "white, heterosexual, non trans" you are one of history's baddies. TRAs get a lot of mileage out of conflating men and women when it suits their purpose.
