Jesus. How can anyone dare claim that trans is a physiological and not a psychological thing.

Because the whole premise of that house is that everyone has a take on gender and Romario was being deceptive. If he hadn't been trying to hit on a woman who said she was straight and wanted a straight bloke but was hitting on one of the transgender folk Marcus may have left it. I think Romario is gaslighting by making his deception Marcus's problem. Romario seems unable to accept his trans status and wants to magic it all away.

The non binary thing though I mean to me it seems like playing a part to show that your non binary , just be you . Iv been described as a " Tomboy " my whole life . whatever, I'm a woman , end of , I can like "boy" things and il still be a woman because there is no such thing as "boy" things

However, 2 wrongs don't make a right. He doesn't want to accept he is trans and that is his baggage.

No one in particular. I was musing, I feel very empathetic towards the young people, but even with that empathy I can't bring myself to accept a transwoman as a woman like I am, a biological woman.

What about Brooke? Has quite openly said she'd snog a guy without telling them but wouldn't sleep with someone until she'd told them. Why aren't you all piling on her?

@2rebecca "I think Romario is gaslighting..." I agree. He obviously has a complicated and difficult back story. But he was not just chatting up a girl in his local town, he came on national TV and openly romanced her knowing she would not be comfortable with this.

If this was a trans woman doing this to a man people would be up in arms, to me it is no different in moral terms. Although obviously the physical height and size thing makes Romario not a threat. But emotionally I expect Filomena was getting attached. It's playing with other people's emotions.

To be honest I would not be comfortable with her stance either. However, she was describing a guy falling on her in a bar and snogging her. Not the same as developing a relationship on camera with a woman you know would be uncomfortable with the reality of the situation.

@Italiangreyhound - I didn't hear that bit re: Markus, probably popped to the loo - I'm watching on catch-up and it won't pause. I came back part way through Romario's face to face with their mum (which I must admit brought a tea to my eye).

Max's story also had me in tears when I watched it recently.
