I think Birds Eye peas are frozen very soon after being picked, that's what makes them extra tasty.

I think you mean “under birds eye”

OvaHere · 02/05/2018 19:27

Transphobia - misogyny wearing a coat made of teflon.

AnitaLovesVictor · 02/05/2018 19:28

Lemonjello, that did just make me laugh - thanks. I'm feeling pretty angry right now.

I suppose women's anger is also transphobic.

ErrolTheDragon · 02/05/2018 19:28

Ziplock bags= inconclusive

They are merely airexclusionary.

I have laughed so much at under birds eye that I think some wee has come out...ShockGrin

poshme · 02/05/2018 19:29

I really want to go and buy some Birdseye peas now to see if they taste better that my tesco peas.

AnitaLovesVictor · 02/05/2018 19:29

Is knitting now TRANSPHOBIC? Crochet?

poshme · 02/05/2018 19:30

Than

Lemonjello · 02/05/2018 19:30

leyat 😘

terryleather · 02/05/2018 19:30

No, JF likes to do knitting so I think it's safe to say it's not transphobic

spontaneousgiventime · 02/05/2018 19:30

I shouldn't I know but I'm crying laughing.

poshme · 02/05/2018 19:30

Probably depends what you're knitting.

Don't knit giant vaginas.

fmsfms · 02/05/2018 19:30

If I poke a wasp nest then I can't complain if I get stung. Some people who witness me poking the nest could well think I want to get stung

BeUpStanding · 02/05/2018 19:30

ReluctantCamper They just sort of taste fresher and sweeter. I eat a lot of frozen peas, and a while ago realised that it's worth the extra quid. Most other stuff I go own brand. Except washing up liquid - has to be Fairy. Or Ecover if I'm feeling particularly guilty about the state of the world and my carbon-intensive lifestyle.

ReluctantCamper · 02/05/2018 19:30

Oh you bet AnitaLovesVictor. Women's anger is the most transphobic thing I can think of.

poshme · 02/05/2018 19:31

If you do knit a giant vagina can I have one?

OvaHere · 02/05/2018 19:31

I suppose women's anger is also transphobic.

I imagine it's the most transphobic thing. Perhaps second only to non compliance with THE RULES (for which the goalposts are forever changing)

poshme · 02/05/2018 19:31

(Are we allowed to talk about vaginas now?)

PsychoPumpkin · 02/05/2018 19:31

Hi Shon!

A human being cannot change sex and it is not transphobic to say so.

OnTheList · 02/05/2018 19:32

Its always mumsnet isn't it..transactivists so up in arms about women on MN. Meanwhile, on male dominated forums, real transphobia runs rampant, and not a word said. Ridiculous, but predictable. Much like all abuse is directed at women, and not actual men who are, you know, committing the violence and such. Its 'TERFs' fault that men attack transwomen.

ErrolTheDragon · 02/05/2018 19:32

Knitting is gender neutral. My grandfather won prizes for his knitting, he designed and knit me a lovely lemon yellow woolly when I was little.

poshme · 02/05/2018 19:32

Psycho you missed the memo.

They don't change sex cos they always WERE that sex. But inside.
The outside bit of the body was just not quite right.

PsychoPumpkin · 02/05/2018 19:32

I knitted a woolly boob for my sister in law’s midwifery course. I could try my hand at a vagina
