Earlier today the Trans Park Run thread was deleted in its entirety because SOME posts alleging cheating were deemed to be 'not in the spirit' of MN.

We have a thread about that running.

I have just been deleted on the Heather Peto thread for posting this:

My old cat once fell in the bath with me, Truscum. I did try to tell him that my stomach and shoulders didn't identify as perfect for shredding but for some reason he just wouldn't listen.

"Legal position" is that everyone under 16 years of age is a child. That doesn't mean a post-pubertal fully-developed 15-year-old is actually biologically a child. It just means she is considered one in the eyes of the law.

It is not against the law to say that person is a young adult and not a child, despite what "legal position" says.

As I said downthread and you obviously didn't understand, you need to make the distinction between what is legally accepted and what is actually true.

If you went to A&E with abdominal pain, or chest pain, you can bet they want to know your biological sex, rather than (or as well as) the gender you identify as.

SupermatchGame, transwomen have very different risk factors for diseases to women. The physiological reality cannot be tricked by a law. Psychiatry is outside my expertise, I imagine a psychiatrist will of course refer to a transwoman as a woman, as will a gynaecologist checking for breast tumours.

If the gynaecologist is unaware of the trans status, it would be to the patient's detriment.

Also would it be an idea to request this be moved to Site Stuff? It is about @MNHQ's moderation procedures after all.

There have been cases where males demand pap smears because they are that desperate to have their delusions affirmed. I do so wish they could get the treatment they need to reconcile to reality.
