Earlier today the Trans Park Run thread was deleted in its entirety because SOME posts alleging cheating were deemed to be 'not in the spirit' of MN.

We have a thread about that running.

I have just been deleted on the Heather Peto thread for posting this:

"Bless..."

A post intended to be mildly dismissive.

That was deleted for breaking talk guidelines.

Give me a fucking break MNHQ.

Red is right to be distressed. Women are being silenced, now even on Mumsnet. Our very biology, discussions about it, are now deemed transphobic. So women have to shut up.

I'm distressed, I came that close to flouncing off MN this afternoon, when I saw that the Parkrun thread had been deleted. I didn't see the last couple of hours of it, so I don't know what was said at the end - but that was an important discussion about women's sport, and defining women as a biological category.

This sucks, MNHQ - and this is not what I expected from Justine's triumphant herald of free speech in the media, and on the radio.

Some melodramatic pearl clutcher doesn't understand that "transphobia" does not = failing to submit to an Orwellian belief system that men can be women. i said nothing that hasn't been said here a million times before.

Women's rights have been declared to be anti trans, just as they were declared to be anti men in our foremothers day.
