Earlier today the Trans Park Run thread was deleted in its entirety because SOME posts alleging cheating were deemed to be 'not in the spirit' of MN.

We have a thread about that running.

I have just been deleted on the Heather Peto thread for posting this:

"Bless..."

A post intended to be mildly dismissive.

That was deleted for breaking talk guidelines.

Give me a fucking break MNHQ.

"Bless..." gets a deletion!??!?!

Well that’s ridiculous, if we can’t even post the definition of words then debate is truly dead on mn, how can discussion of feminist issues, happen if we’re not even allowed to define what we’re talking about, dictionaries are banned content now? Hmm

The definition of Woman according to the Oxford English Dictionary - both the hard copy I hold in my hand, and the 'google' online definition is "Adult human female."

Words have meanings. Language has established definitions - otherwise none of us know where we are.

I am unsure if the mods understand that these people came to hurt Mumsnet, not the women who comment here.

What I'm getting from the mod comments in this thread is a. no, they don't understand that, and b. they don't care if the non-TRA women who comment here are hurt.

I reported the odd PM I received a couple of hours ago, and have been asking for clarification on what user data mods currently have access to for about as long. Response? Nothing.

Hygge says that she's been asking to have her history deleted even since the data breach and she's being ignored too.

I've gone a got my Oxford dictionary down from the shelf (you made me get off my arse, I hope you're all pleased with yourselves).

Woman: noun, adult human female
Female: adjective, of the offspring bearing sex

So that gives us

Woman = adult human of the offspring bearing sex.

Now as long as I don't yawn, hopefully this post can stand.

Its repeating the abuse I received for TRYING to deal with this and being open minded.

The judging. The assumption of maliciousness. The controlling. The power games.

None of it was about being trans. None of it.

It was just about compliance.

Everyone who's been on the receiving end of the controlling variety of abusive behavior recognizes what's happening here. That the mods either don't or think it's fine should concern every woman on this site regardless of her views on the trans issue.
