Do people like Jane Fae and bloody India Willoughby really think they look like women? They just look ridiculous.

I didn't understand Jane's point about men going to prison if they lie about 'being a woman'?

I understood that self-id was to make transitioning easier and there's to be no checks or safeguards, you could simply self identify and request that your birth certificate be changed and to be legally recognised as your chosen gender. Where does imprisoning men who falsely claim to 'feel like a woman' come into it? How we prove their feelz are manly?

Or did she, as I suspect, mean we have to wait for those men to commit crimes against women before they are imprisoned and it has nothing to do with their feelz?

On the criminal thing, I think what JF was getting at is that there would probably be something on the self-ID form that says that signing it without genuinely intending to change gender is an offence. But....we don't have these policy and process details yet, because the legislation has stalled, plus it completely misses the whole feckin point that we dont' want to shut the stable door after the horse has bolted and put women in danger
