Actually, I think the Venn diagram and the QUOTES are by someone else. Hence 'Hostile' is a quote, and 'to males' was written by one of the iceberg people, because that is how you would describe those you don't want to have sex with -- ever! 'Cos they're male.

But yeah, this has been going on in the lesbian community, and led to young lesbians desperately trying to get over their own 'transphobia' and lack of interest in male-bodied persons. So, a two-pronged attack, the malleable ones get to sleep with the male-bodied TIMs, and validate their femaleness and lesbian credentials, and the intransigent ones get encouraged to transition.................

You do see a few articles by TIFs trying to encourage gay men to sleep with them, but I don't think they find it as easy as males intimidating and guilt-tripping lesbians. Even better if you get your hand-maidens to do it for you 'But why don't you want to go out with X, she's a lovely person, you share so many interests, she's really attractive, just your type etc etc because saying 'Nope, cos they're a bloke has been outlawed! As has, nope, she's still got a dick (OMG you horrible vagina-fetishist!), nope she still acts like a bloke, nope, he's a he.............etc etc.

I never thought I'd see such an attack on lesbians.

swivelchair · 01/03/2018 16:28

Fuck me. Or rather of course, definitely don't - and I'm not even a lesbian, I quite like the occasional man.

Patodp · 01/03/2018 16:30

Also, porn and a culture of objectification has dehumanised woman to the extent that we are mere costume

I completely see a link between the rise of internet porn and rise of AGP / Trans.

Wanderingwomb · 01/03/2018 16:34

Patodp do you mean that agp want to be the objectified porn woman?

Trans is a modern movement of men's sexual rights

Yes. Not only has modern transgenderism got nothing to do with women, it's also got nothing to do with femininity.

It is a movement of men expressing the age old sexual demands masculinity and male privilege by performing a grotesque version of femininity.

And once you see it, you can't unsee it.

Ereshkigal · 01/03/2018 17:00

Ah that makes more sense. Thanks SomeDyke.

That article was talking about MichFest. The Woman's festival. And how exclusionary it is.

The article was written in 2014.

Michfest has since been shut down by transactivists.

It had run for 40 years.

TallulahWaitingInTheRain · 01/03/2018 18:39

This is the heart of the whole thing isn't it. Women refusing sex or sexual gratification to men is becoming a hate crime

AngryAttackKittens · 01/03/2018 19:10

We think we have reached the peak but we still keep on going with the "silent majority of normal trans aren't like this". But it isn't true. Once, long ago, when trans=transsexuals and didn't include cross dressers, it was true.

I reached this realization years ago and spent a long time being frustrated waiting for other women to see what I was already seeing. Once it's seen it can't be unseen. We instinctively know that fetishistic transvestites are a threat to our safety, which is why they're trying to hide themselves behind the old school ladyboy type of transsexuals (effeminate gay men, often with rather sexist ideas about women's roles in society but not actually a physical threat to women). As long as it works most women won't see the danger, and once they do it may be too late.

I'd really like most women's moment of realization not to happen when they're trapped in an enclosed space with a man with raging AGP and an erection. Which is why we need to keep trying to warn them before that happens.

Rufustherenegadereindeer1 · 01/03/2018 19:42

What a complete twunt

LangCleg · 01/03/2018 19:54

Which is why we need to keep trying to warn them before that happens.

Exactly. The trans population has changed. It isn't what it was NOW. And, if they get what they want, it will be even worse because it will be a magnet for abusers. Just like the Catholic priesthood used to be a magnet for abusers. Abusers see an opportunity, where there is no safeguarding or gate keeping, and they head straight for it.

GRA should be reformed. But the opposite way. Nobody convicted of sex offences or DV offences to be allowed one, ever. To get one should require a comprehensive psychiatric assessment to check risk to others - no narcs allowed.

Anatidae · 01/03/2018 19:54

datun I agree wholeheartedly. I’m not taking it on a case by case basis - I don’t want to sleep with ANY of them.

And THAT is my right. The default is not ‘you must allow access’ the default is ‘no access’ and that default is dropped ONLY in very specific circumstances.

Agree also with Tallulah - it’s legislating to reduce women to holes, and to enshrine in law men’s rights to fuck whatever they want whenever they want. It’s a rapists charter.

Utterly disgraceful.

And again I have to ask WHY is this not being shouted from the rooftops in he mainstream media? This is a huge issue. It’s the biggest rights issue in years. Why no exposure?

athingthateveryoneneeds · 01/03/2018 20:11

I'm starting to think there are many more AGPs and MRAs than we really know about, and that a lot of them have money, power and influence.

AnotherQuoll · 01/03/2018 20:16

Because, just like the minority of men whose #MVAW benefits the rest of Class Male, TIMs gaining rights to transgress girls' and women's boundaries also benefits the rest of Class Male.

Datun · 01/03/2018 21:17

Anatidae

I agree. It's just there seems to be this awful caveat that TRAs consistently invoke "... of course you don't have to sleep with anybody you don't want to, but...".

Implying that it's transphobic to dismiss trans people on the basis that they are trans. That it's discriminatory. When it isn't. You can dismiss sexual partners on any basis you like. Blonde hair, blue eyes.

And they will consistently try and make refusal of sex of a cohort a discriminantory issue on the basis of transphobia. Whilst reluctantly agreeing that you can do it on a case-by-case basis, due to personality, or whatever.

And now this wholesale push to make lesbians heterosexual.

Honest to God, if you weren't a feminist before you found out about all this, you bloody well are afterwards.

AngryAttackKittens · 01/03/2018 21:39

They're trying to reset the default to "will have sex with anyone who asks" with any exceptions having to be pleaded for. If you can't make a case for why not then you're not allowed to invoke the exception! It's pure rapist logic.

TallulahWaitingInTheRain · 01/03/2018 21:41

Men of the right think women are private property, men of the left think we are public property

AngryAttackKittens · 01/03/2018 21:57

I also categorically reject sex with TIMs, even though I'm fine with sex with men who're fairly androgynous, because a. those are different things and b. I don't share the quasi-religious beliefs about gender that TIMs have and in fact find those beliefs abhorrent.

LangCleg · 01/03/2018 22:44

It became apparent very quickly in my earliest days at a sex life that I could not do any kind of role play. Fell about laughing and wilted the penis. Every. Single. Time.

So, since transgenderism is all about performance, I can most definitely say that I will not be having sex with a TIM.

AngryAttackKittens · 01/03/2018 22:58

I had one boyfriend who wanted me to spank him while scolding him in a stern voice. Couldn't stop laughing. Oh, the tragic wilting that results...

thebewilderness · 01/03/2018 23:03

2+2=5 is what these men are telling us and because we have learned both the easy way and the hard way to appease men they have been able to convince the general public that women do not object.

In addition to the clash of beliefs and values I don't want to have sex with trans women because I've never met one who I was attracted to. And I'm bisexual, so in theory I can be attracted to people of either sex. For lesbians there is approximately 0% chance of them being attracted to a male person and wanting to touch his penis.

LadyLance · 01/03/2018 23:38

LangCleg I agree with everything you say.

I've found the whole trans thing worrying for quite a while and it's made me angry. This stuff, I find genuinely distressing. It's ok to say no to someone. It's ok to say no to a whole group of people based on their genitalia. That's what sexuality is!
