May I have the go fund me link? I will donate

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 25/01/2018 20:47

If we put the link MN will pull the thread.

If you Google keep all women shortlists female it should come up.

Badweekjustgotworse · 25/01/2018 20:47

swerfy we cant link as the thread will get deleted but if you google go find me and the word woman it’s the top hit!

SwerfyTerfy · 25/01/2018 20:51

No problem; I shall search.
I will donate.
Thank you.

HairyBallTheorem · 25/01/2018 20:53

Kiss - loving your work on #labourlosingwomen. That still from the Handmaid's Tale is absolutely spot on. Private Eye needs it for next week's cover!

OnTheList · 25/01/2018 20:56

MN have been allowing other GFM links to be posted. The GOSH one yesterday and in these threads they allowed 2 people to post the TRA gofundme and did not delete.

Terrible news about Jennifer. But not surprising either. Its like Labour just do not care. And I am sure the bepenised ones will be crowing about how fabulous they are.

Labour are a pisstake. If no viable parties appear by the next election, I am spoiling my ballot. Fuck this shit.

SwerfyTerfy · 25/01/2018 20:57

I have donated, my son and husband will also be donating.
Keep up the good work;
Please let me know (via PM or here I don't mind) if there is anything practical or financial I can do to help this cause.

OnTheList · 25/01/2018 20:57

I would donate more than I could afford to a fundraiser for this.

I really would too. I am sure many women would. UIts vital that the general population is woken up to this nonsense before its too late to go back.

HairyBallTheorem · 25/01/2018 21:01

That hashtag is proving very informative - another one for the "this never happens" list:

IntelligentYetIndecisive · 25/01/2018 21:03

Look what the National Trust are celebrating this year.

Inside, a short piece by Laura Bates, founder of the Everyday Sexism Project, introducing a series of NT places, being promoted under the 'Women and Power' programme.

Why are we doing this all over again??

That's an excellent way of putting it Whenwill

I will use that

Lostmyemailaddress · 25/01/2018 21:10

I peaked transed ages ago I have commented on a few trans threads but I can only do it on here. I had to set up a new Twitter account to start following people like radfem. I'm to worried about the backlash if I did it under my real name I'm a single mum living with 7 kids 2 with sn and we only recently stopped being targeted by a gang of "lads" where we live. Lads are in quotes as the gang were early 20s but nothing was ever done by the police. I want to be more vocal and active but don't know how as my dc have been through the past 3 years living in a house being targeted.

Ohforfoxsakereturns · 25/01/2018 21:12

Dartharts I emailed Labour memberships. Received a letter in about a week with a form to complete and send back.

I was quite clear in my email as to my reasons, but I shall reiterate them.

Leaving the Labour Party is the right thing for me, and I am pleased to have done it. Saying that, I know the local labour councillors and the great work they do and I would struggle to not support them at local level so am conflicted.

SonicVersusGynaephobia · 25/01/2018 21:13

Checking in with a name change.

SwerfyTerfy · 25/01/2018 21:20

how sad that we have to be frightened of death threats, rape threats, doxxing and assault.
It is literally male violence with platform heels on. Confused
I understand all of the namechangers (I am one) and those who will donate or help anonymously. It just makes me sad and angry.

TellsEveryoneRealFacts · 25/01/2018 21:25

I emailed my resignation and got a phone call.

She asked me who had been officially fundraising. I asked if she was aware of the situation...I had said in my email that if the LP can't define me as an adult human female then they will never get my money or vote again.

She said 'there is no problem with transwomen on all women shortlists'

So I said if you think that then j made the right choice.

Turkeys voting for Christmas.

SisterNotCis · 25/01/2018 21:27

Agree. It feels like women are being driven underground.

Freshlylaidterf · 25/01/2018 21:33

Offs! Pathetic . I always voted labour ( but not a member since Iraq) until the last election .Unless they sort this out i will not be voting for them again

BarrackerBarmer · 25/01/2018 21:36

If you tweet, try #WomenDontHaveDicks

HomeTerf · 25/01/2018 21:36

I donated again and left a message. Lots more coming in now, but jeez...

I can't get my head around it.

DarthArts · 25/01/2018 21:39

@TellsEveryoneRealFacts

Thanks Smile

Yeah, I've never forgiven Labour central office for that disastrous casting mistake getting Little OJ to play Jack Reacher.

Oh hang on, that was the other one...
