It is beginning to look like Labour is on board with the MRAs purge of uppity women from the Party. Are they really too ignorant to know when they are shooting themselves in the foot?
If it is any consolation to you men declaring that women who speak for themselves are on the same side as the "bad guys" is a traditional anti feminist accusation.

You can't have a debate if the other side refuses point blank to discuss the matter. I don't think I've seen a single post from any of the politicians on the pro-trans side even acknowledging that they understand why we might have concerns (because to do so would brand them TERFs too? Surely not).

I mean, prisons alone, how is that even going to work? Are they going to have prisons as one of the exclusions to the policy? Or are they going to restrict the rights of prisoners to self-ID? Or will it be a free-for-all and they'll just keep their fingers crossed that the number of sexual predators that decide to bite is minimal? And.if it's not minimal, how will women's prisons cope and how much money will it cost exactly to ensure the inmates are safe? Aren't these questions that need to be asked?

Freshlylaidterf when you donate you enter the amount, then your first and last name (you can use your initials if you like), underneath is a box which you tick to be anonymous (your name and comment will only be visible to the organiser), then enter bank details etc. the last box is a comment box.

How do you feel about starting some sort of Spartacus style campaign to the Labour Party. If everyone on here emails/tweets surely they can't expel everyone.

Have you seen the other thread? GoFundMe have been refunding donations made in other people's names, as well as asking for proof of ID (government issued photo ID) and social media details (!) from some who tried to donate. Really fucking dodgy.

I would donate more than I could afford to a fundraiser for this. Provided the language was not squeamish about using the word 'men'. Sorry to keep banging on about this, but it ought to be clear by now that when you use the framing of 'women and transwomen', people DO NOT understand the issue. It's only when you say 'this is about the end of sex segregation. It's about emptying the word 'woman' of all meaning and letting men - any men - into women's spaces, hospital wards and sports based on nothing more than their say so' - that people actually get it.
