Well those quiet, unassuming transwomen need to speak up and challenge self-ID and the revolting harrassment that women are receiving.
I've followed these debates on MN for a while, but we're in a bit of a bubble here. Most of us are what 5 years ago would have been called women, but in this case I shall refer to as 'natal women'.
I've only been on twitter for the last week or so, and I have seen the odd TW pop up and say the equivalent of 'not in my name'. Gender fluid people are around 1% of the population, with TW being a small proportion of even that %. The point is, there aren't very many of them at all, so just by the numbers it will be hard for them to get involved in all the conversations.
A lot of the really hateful language on twitter is coming from 'trans allies' rather than trans people themselves.
