That is a beautiful placard

GuardianLions · 22/01/2018 17:39

Great that it has been seen so widely and Pink News wrote the text out in full.

SchrodingersFrilledLizard · 22/01/2018 18:48

I am this woman.

hipsterfun · 22/01/2018 19:10

Deadlylampshade · 22/01/2018 19:12

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 22/01/2018 19:14

SonicBoomBoom · 22/01/2018 19:14

I'm getting an error message saying the page isn't available. Anyone else getting that?

Gileswithachainsaw · 22/01/2018 19:17

Thank you

So much

SophoclesTheFox · 22/01/2018 19:19

That's a great sign and she's bold and brave to carry it.

I hate that she has to be Sad

OpalIridescence · 22/01/2018 19:25

This woman really is something special.

Shocking, that one of the bravest things I have seen in a while is a woman daring to define the word 'woman' at the women's march.

PsychoPumpkin · 22/01/2018 19:28

It’s apt that she referenced Orwell on her sign because telling the truth really has become a revolutionary act.

I cannot believe I live in a time where it is hate speech to say that Trans women are not women.

AnotherQuoll · 22/01/2018 19:29

Oh! I'd not seen the back of her placard before. I love Spartacus Woman even more now.

Deadlylampshade · 22/01/2018 19:33

I would be interested in this going to court because surely they would have to define what a ‘man’ was?

WiseUpJanetWeiss · 22/01/2018 19:36

I am this woman.

MiMi78 · 22/01/2018 19:40

I want this photo printed on a t-shirt.
It's a wonderful photo, her defiant look, the placard.

Datun · 22/01/2018 19:45

I am this woman.

I am Spartacus.

millionsofpeaches · 22/01/2018 19:53

I am this woman.

This is brave, not putting on a frock, a ton of make up and declaring yourself female even though your chromosomes and penis state otherwise That's not brave, who cares if you wear a frock? None of my business what you wear. This, however, is.

ladyballs · 22/01/2018 19:55

I am this woman.

YourVagesty · 22/01/2018 19:59

And i am that woman

winterinmadeira · 22/01/2018 20:02

I am this woman

MrsFogi · 22/01/2018 20:04

That is bloody brilliant. Can anyone tell me when the next women's march will be in London? - I for one will be carrying a replica of the banner (hopefully the lady in the photo won't be claiming copyright infringement) and hope that many others will be too.

AbsintheFriends · 22/01/2018 20:05

I am this woman

Flomper · 22/01/2018 20:10

I love this woman. And I am this woman. Inspirational. Just waiting for the threats and threats of violence to kick in. Probably actual violence too. I increasingly feel.like I'm living in an episode of The Handmaids Tale.

lizzieoak · 22/01/2018 20:17

Another bit of nonsense from Morgane’s fb page: “ that the privilege of being cis is one of the privileges that is most likely to lead to survival if not success in this world we live in.”

I haven’t heard much dialogue here (Vancouver) about the issue. It’s generally assumed that of We don’t want men at rape crisis centres, women’s shelters etc, then we’re nasty bigots, but no actual discussion has taken place.
