Lily Madigan and Aisling Musson are asking for 'screenshots and evidence of transphobic behaviour' so they can make Labour 'a truly safe space for all members regardless of their gender identity or lack thereof.' In other words, doxxing people so they can be thrown out of the party for gender-critical views.

The group write-up is:

A group formed to oppose the rising tide of Transphobia in the UK Labour Party and to seek to make the Party a truly safe space for all members regardless of their gender identity or lack thereof.

PLEASE READ THE PINNED POST

If you have screenshots and evidence of transphobic behaviour please put them in the google drive folder rather than offloading them straight into the group as it may otherwise be overwhelming and trans members should have the option to not have to look at upsetting comments.

Do not add anyone unless you are sure that they:

  1. Are a member of the Labour Party
  2. Believe the basis of gender is self-definition
  3. Think that transphobia is grounds for expulsion from the party
  4. Respect the autonomy of trans people to direct the fight against transphobia (I.e will not take decisions against the will of trans people)

If you are a trans and/or non binary person and you would like to be added to the secret group (trans/nb people only) please message lily madigan or aisling musson and we will add you.

Rules:

  • No advocacy for violence, threats of violence of other illegal acts (quite apart from the morality of it, please do not get this group shut down)
  • This is a not a discourse group. If you do not agree that transphobia is bad, that the Labour party has it and that we should fight it, this is not a group for you.
  • Be respectful. As far as possible, please always be friendly, respectful and comradely and treat others as you would wish to be treated.
-No members of other parties.
  • TERF is not a slur.

Ah, you found it first Grin

Aw. The spreadsheet's been deleted.

Hope someone screenshotted it! Grin

Paul Embery, Emma Dolan and Jackie Holyoake are the three remaining folders in the 'evidence file'

I can't believe they left it up so long - if they'd had any sense they would have removed it as soon as it became public knowledge.

EamonnWright · 22/01/2018 00:17

I am astounded at the sheer brass neck of Lily. It's either very very cocky or very very stupid.

NotTerfNorCis · 22/01/2018 00:19

I'd go for being very young, and being egged on by people who should know better. I'd also suspect Lily might be feeling quite scared at the moment about the consequences of what they have done.

AssignedPuuurfectAtBirth · 22/01/2018 00:19

Woooooopsie

You are of course absolutely correct but my empathy levels are way down on Lily.

TheCopyist · 22/01/2018 00:25

I was on the list. I’ve screengrabbed it and complained to the Labour Party. I’m now considering my legal position

TheCopyist · 22/01/2018 00:26

I’ve also complained about specific members who were admins of this now secret group. I’m pretty furious. I’m not even a member

EamonnWright · 22/01/2018 00:27

That has made me think actually, Lily is only 3 years older than my daughter.

PlectrumElectrum · 22/01/2018 00:28

As they should be It's - fucking about with lists & data & then trying to claim ignorance/innocence gives the impression of youthful indiscretion but this shit is serious & the consequences can be pretty severe. I fully expect they've been egged on by not only their hangers on/shady backers but their own ego & love of the spotlight. That's what's fuelled this shit show from day 1.

I genuinely think all the 'support' they've had gives the impression they're untouchable & beyond reproach - we'll see what the ICO have to say about it & how much 'support' gets them through that.

GuardianLions · 22/01/2018 00:34

Spreadsheets with comments - you won't be able to read it at this resolution though

It's like a wee students union game to them. They'll know their arse from their elbow if the right wing price come down on them.

VinoTime · 22/01/2018 00:50

It's honestly like listening to a toddler making demands to sit at the adult table. They invariably throw spaghetti everywhere, deny throwing the spaghetti, refuse to be moved from the table because 'YOU SAID I WAS BIG AND COULD SIT HEEEEERE!', but will happily revert to their 'but I'm only a little girl!' stance whenever it suits them to do so - usually when they get themselves into hot water and don't like the 'adult' repercussions.

I'm just waiting for the 'I'm only a young girl. Stop bullying me!' tweet. You might be young, LM, but you're responsible for your actions, all of which have consequences. The problem? A god complex doesn't like the word 'consequences', and the sycophants around you keep feeding yours!

PlectrumElectrum · 22/01/2018 00:52

Someone needs to check out that other group and check dates/times of set up.

This one? Tbh, the (secret) bit tells me this was a hastily put together group (with 13 members no less!) for 'cover'.

Whole thing smacks of BS.

Chchchchangeabout · 22/01/2018 00:56

That is an odd screen grab plectrum, where is it from?

RedToothBrush · 22/01/2018 00:56

Some one really needs to pursue legally at this point and not just let it drop.

LittlePaintBox · 22/01/2018 00:57

Stupid AND cocky, I reckon. People are leaping in and defending Lily on the grounds of age, but I don't buy it. If you're going to stand for every position you're eligible for, you need to grow up fast and wise up about how to behave.

KillDora · 22/01/2018 00:58

Is that 'secret' group she's using as a cover story featuring a picture that appears to be saying 'Down with biological women'?

Isn't that what they mean by cis?

PlectrumElectrum · 22/01/2018 01:05

LM posted it on their twitter feed in response to someone posting about them being admin on the infamous LAT FB group/spreadsheet fiasco. It's their 'defence' I think, hence me thinking it's some hastily put together BS alternate 'secret' (secret) group Hmm

Sillyjelly · 22/01/2018 06:05

Has Lily's Twitter bio always had this "tweets not always by me" disclaimer? It just caught my eye. I'm wondering if she knows she's busted and is now going to try and deny she wrote the denials as a form of damage control?

Could be that it's been there before today, but I've never noticed it.

Or perhaps she is just handing over Twitter for a while.

PlectrumElectrum · 22/01/2018 06:51

Good spot - that's definitely new. I dunno why but I read their bio yesterday & that def wasn't there.

Gileswithachainsaw · 22/01/2018 07:02

Yes that's the group. So obvious what it is and the screen shots prove otherwise.

A quick cross match of times and dates should easiky show it for what it is

PlectrumElectrum · 22/01/2018 07:02

It might be a sign that someone is actually now stepping in to deal with the ridiculous nonsense being posted. It's been said a few times, someone must be watching over this & should be stepping in when required given their age & clear ignorance of the meaning of acting responsibly in the role they are in.
