48harv · 23/01/2018 20:40

I have read today that authorities in Tanzania have arrested 5 schoolgirls that are pregnant to force their rapists to come out of the woodwork, strange justice if you ask me.

Have just caught up with this thread and wanted to say I appreciate harv coming back after the initial problems and in particular your letter which will hopefully be on its way to the PM by now. I’m glad you can begin to understand why so many of us are so angry about what’s happening. It’s not aimed at individuals like you whom I would agree have been through a lot in order to feel comfortable in your own skin. Our anger is directed at the new form of transgender/ gender fluid individuals who aim to take from women, and refuse to have any discussion round the problem relating to the loss of sex segregated spaces such as prisons, as well as the implications for women’s sport

Italiangreyhound · 24/01/2018 00:52

@Rufustherenegadereindeer1

"But i cant stop eating this week" Me neither!

How the hell will arresting girls catch the men who impregnated them!

48harv · 24/01/2018 19:05

Interesting nondeplum fur coatnaeknickers yes it did take this nitwit a while to climb of the high horse, and understand the issue that is your main concern, seeing that “ yank” and his inflammatory comment it must make your blood boil, yes the 3 letters went yesterday as promised, failure to receive a reply will mean they get it again that a promise, I can be useful and I want to be.

48harv · 24/01/2018 19:09

I enjoy anything with an historical flavour , especially true stories,

Can anyone advise me how to show you a few photos on this forum , no don’t worry is just some of my artwork 😊

QuentinSummers · 24/01/2018 19:17

The little paperclip under the message box.
You should read Dinosaur Hunters and Barrows Boys. Both great books.

QuentinSummers · 24/01/2018 19:17

The Victorians were a bit crazy

48harv · 24/01/2018 19:19

It gets worse for these girls they are expected to marry these monsters and it’s no more school either, in some countries it’s not a good idea to be born a girl (still)

48harv · 24/01/2018 19:28

I have got the pictures up but how do I send them to you ?

I don’t know how I did that

48harv · 24/01/2018 19:35

The first one was an advert on the tele I just liked the colours,
The 2nd one was just out of my head,
the 3rd one was a pencil drawing

Rufustherenegadereindeer1 · 24/01/2018 20:00

2nd one is my favourite

Have you been painting long? What medium do you prefer?

I just bought a biography of Catherine Howard...need to stop buying books

Rufustherenegadereindeer1 · 24/01/2018 20:01

I think its very clever when people can do a painting out of their head

I can sketch (badly) what i see but I can't invent something

I do like painting programmes though...like the landscape challenge

I like that they are all looking at the same thing but the paintings look so different

48harv · 24/01/2018 20:11

It was possibly the only thing worth inheriting from my father, I always have enjoyed painting, in all mediums (prefer oils) , I did enjoy history and geography in school ( when I went🤪)

Why don’t you join goodreads it’s free isn’t it?

The best thing about art is it’s individuality as you say with that art programme no 2are alike yet all have merit I like it to and landscape artist of the year, and of course Bob Ross (now deceased alas)

Rufustherenegadereindeer1 · 24/01/2018 20:23

I like the portrait artist one as well

Although i always think its funny when the sitter looks at it and sometimes their face is Shock

My local library is pretty good for new releases to be fair and i do pass books on to friends or the book club im in

48harv · 24/01/2018 21:44

Sorry I was not being rude my niece messengered me been chatting for over an hour 😁
