Lesbian women should be open to having sex with transwomen but straight men is a different matter

My friend is in an online debate with a guy from work.
She is lesbian, he is straight.
He is saying that sexual preferences are fine as long as they don’t exclude trans people.
She is saying her sexuality is not a preference but innate to her, she is a lesbian and she cannot be intimate with someone who has a penis.
He replies that she is transphobic.
He then has lots of SJW friends come along and trot out the “trans women are women” line, over and over. For hours.
To which she responds along the lines of “so if trans women are women would you as a straight man, sleep with one?”

The replies go silent for an hour or so and then suddenly in a steady stream of obviously coordinated attack, they come back with shouts of her being a bigot, how straight cis men are socially different to lesbians, no one who doesn’t want to have sex with a penis should be forced to - how dare she? Was she advocating rape? She is a lesbian transphobe bigot for not wanting to have sex with a trans person with a dick.
Her body is designed to receive and his is not. Some women have a penis and she needs to get over that if she wants to be a good lesbian.

Where the fuck is the logic in this? It positively reeks of homophobia.

If straight men and lesbian women are both attracted to women. And, in their world transwomen are women, why is it transphobic for a lesbian to refuse to sleep with a TW but bigotry to suggest a straight man should be open to the same thing?

There is no logic and those are not friends. Funny how lesbians need ladydick when it is trans but straight men - that's another matter...mainly because those trouting the suck my ladydick line are just boring old straight guys who are mainly seeking attention and another way of getting laid.

He has a particularly nasty streak when it comes to lesbians.

My friend was actually discussing something else with another former colleague when this guy jumped on something and turned it into a debate about trans rights Vs lesbian rights.

I know she would be better off not engaging and she hasn’t become angry at him (which I’m impressed with because I would lose it with him) but his reactions to some very basic questions are very telling.

It makes me wonder if the way to closing down a lot of this trans women are women debate is asking straight men how they feel about fucking “lady dick”. I think it would be the only way to shock people into questioning the whole TRA agenda.

This is what so many things boil down to in men's minds. Women have an orifice that has a couple of functions, and one of them is to accept a penis. It really upsets them when women suggest that they should be able to choose which penis it is that goes into that orifice (or no penis at all)

This is also why the pro-prostitution men go quiet when you suggest that should they find themselves down on their luck they go and become a prostitute, to which they enthusiastically agree, they'd love to be paid to have sex with women - and you tell them, oh, no, I mean have men pay to put their penis in you, it doesn't matter that you're not into penis, you're being paid - the female prostitutes aren't into those penises either.

"Her body is designed to receive" sounds very familiar rhetoric to me - the Christian fundamentalist type (which I grew up with, so I know it well). It's all about how men are active, women are receptive; God designed women to be obedient and submit to men.

I expect to hear that rhetoric in those circles. But it's bizarre to hear it from people claiming to be progressive about gender and sexuality.

She just needs to keep on repeating that by his own account he is a transphobe for not being willing to sleep with transwomen, and he is also a homophobe for telling lesbians they must like dick. She just needs to keep repeating these two things, and not engage further.

My friend hasn’t replied since they attacked her as a group. I’m not it sure if she wants to engage further although she has had a huge amount needed support from people calling the other side out as homophobic and themselves transphobic.

It really isn’t the question of whether his body is designed to receive a penis, it’s more a question of whether he would stick his penis in a trans woman.

And whatever he wishes to argue about neovaginas or arses, you cannot avoid the premise that receiving oral is a precisely equivalent act from either a woman or a trans woman.
