Great talk by S Walton at the moment addressing sudden rapid onset dysphoria amongst young female teens.

I saw on Twitter that there's a sad-looking group of protestors outside... they look cold!

Cold and bored, getting no reaction from the passing public.

How did it go?

Yeah he was really interesting. Theyre all great actually. Some TRAs got in at the begining and shouted alot but security soon got rid of them. Frankly they looked very foolish.

For people still there, I just left via station exit. No protestors. They’re at the Gordon st entrance but so are the police

They are very noisy! I’m in Buchanan st and can hear them.

I just left too. No problems. Just a lot of noise.!

Really enjoyed it actually. I hope we can get some kind of coordinated effort organised. There was talk of regular meetings.

That was great, I really enjoyed it. Very interesting. When I arrived (about 1845) there were maybe 10-15 protestors outside, with a large banner ('terfs support the patriarchy or something like that') and a drum. They were pretty passive. Inside, there were maybe 4/5 protestors.

And that was despite the last minute venue change...

Oops, just realised I got the quotation marks wrong. The banner said 'terfs support the patriarchy', or something like that - it didn't literally say 'terfs support the patriarchy or something like that'. I think that would have been a better reflection of the clarity of their thinking!

Sorry just saw your post. Yes as iismum said, not very many. Dont know why we were all so worried!

I just got home - great meeting. Felt really unnerved at the meeting point & one of the protesters was actually sitting amongst us, i think I mistook one of them for Agent Provocateur we were followed from costa to venue too.

But I'm so glad it went ahead. Loads of great points made and it was brilliant hearing women speak. Bloody brilliant.

And it was great to see the brilliant Magdalene Berns there too.

The uni lecturer was def going for the Jordan Peterson angle with his speech. And bloody well done to the meeting chairwoman keep a tight lid on the lecturing in the Q&A session.

Brilliant seems to be my new favourite word.

Yeah i was majorly impressed with the chair too.

In case any of them are on here, a massive thank you to the organiser (who managed to book a new venue in 20 minutes ), to the speakers, and to the chair.

(And Magdalen Berns was in the audience !)
