I spoke at the q and a and raised my hand to comment on women only spaces and most transwomen retaining their male genitals. I met Assigned in the horseshoe before the meeting, before I went off to meet my friend in Costa. Just so you know I'm real! Have been posting under different names since 2009.

I couldn't make it - had to work in the end, very disappointing. I'm glad the TRAs didn't affect it too much and you were all safe. I would be interested in meeting up to talk about this and formulate a plan of action . TRAs are being far more organised than us currently.

Hi, I was at the meeting. I was in the second row just behind Joanne.
I asked a question at the end about whether the panel would accept a version of the GRA that clarified the distinction between sex and gender.

I'm in Edinburgh and struggle to get time these days, but increasingly concerned about this and will complete the consultation. Not sure I can do anything FB related, how secure is it? One of my FB friends is very active in trans rights so wary of what I put on there.

How many people made it to the talk?

The protesters sounds absolutely unhinged.

I'm reluctant to use FB for this, tbh. Mainly because if there was any hassle, it would be a real pain in the arse to have to change FB account, and it links to me and others irl.

I'd prefer some other kind of group which is more disposable if you like.

I have written to Patrick Harvie and included that tweet. ItsAll, what do you think about tweeting Ross’s response to Patrick Harvie also. Could be that some of Ross’s constituents were at the meeting and he’s just dismissed them as transphobes!

There are ways to organise on FB that are secure, don’t worry.
