Women prefer working for male bosses

It seems a common argument that the lack of women in senior management positions is a result of the patriarchy. However, I was surprised to read in a recent thread on here that the majority of women prefer female bosses and are more likely to collaborate with a man than with another woman. I can't find that thread so am reposting here.

If true, this is surely a prime example of us women shooting ourselves in the foot and must be a serious contributor to male dominance.

You could bring a case TODAY for him creating a hostile working environment. You could write to all of his other clients and share the evidence you claim to have (that he himself is a child rapist). Also creating an image of child porn (even to look at to make the translation) would be a criminal offence - regardless of where the site was hosted.

That's just a few things you could do now.

What have you done to protect children?

Evening all. We really don't want to delete this entire thread as there is really important discussion on it but we just can't have posters accusing named individuals here who haven't been charged with anything. We've made some deletions and if it continues we'll have to delete the whole thing.

On behalf of women everywhere speaking truth to power and refusing to stay silent about sexually abusive men we have known, thank you Mumsnet.

Oh stop playing the victim and DO something with the evidence you claim to have. Do it for the children. The NYPD are awake right now and his office is open at this minute. The very least you could do is email his office and warn other employees.

You haven't even downvoted or commented on his corporate video.

Do something!!

I find this wallowing in victimhood so annoying..."Woe is me...I am speaking truth to power". No you're not. You're making unsubstantiated allegations on social media expecting someone else to do something.

Take some responsibility.

I have a female boss and although she can be intimidating, she encourages us to learn from our mistakes instead of shouting us down and calling us idiots unlike my previous male boss.

She's fantastic overall and a great role model.

The trend of men disbelieving women until the evidence is overwhelming, then switching to believing women only to smash them in the face with harangues about being terrible people for allowing rapist men to rape continues.

Very interesting. All these while various feminists have been trying hard to get women to top positions but this shows that its time to look within before seeing the problem outside.

I think women are just judged more harshly than men. The benevolent easy going male boss is as much as expectation as the career obsessed power hungry bitch boss.

Men can get away with being mediocre without it casting aspersions on the whole of the male sex.
