If I can't beat 'em...

I'm going to put my 'gender' as male now. Going to 'live a man' but I am not going to change my clothes, not that I wear skirts much anyway. I will still style my hair and wear makeup because I will not be defined.

So I'm going to tell me DH and children tonight. I'm not sure if DH will accept that he is now gay.

Any one want to out their inner man and join me on my journey?

Oooh oooh! I'm a man!

Check out these manly credentials...

  • I'm better at DIY than DGH (dear gay husband)
  • I earn much more money
  • I make all most of the decisions, because I'm more decisive and scary focused
  • I own our house outright and DGH is going to be a SAHP

So basically...I was already a man. This just confirms it. I always come out as 'male' on those FB brain tests which are very accurate and now it's confirmed!

stumblymonkeyagain · 05/09/2017 18:39

Oh...and my name is Randy Castro

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 05/09/2017 18:42

I left the toilet seat up today.
I am a God.

SweetGrapes · 05/09/2017 18:55

Chris here. I am currently on the tube home hogging the armrest and taking up more than my share of legroom.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 05/09/2017 19:26

Is there some footy on today?

JohnnyMcGrathSaysFuckOff · 05/09/2017 19:31

Kr1stina - you want to drop the tina bit mate, if you'll take my advice.

But yeah, your my idea about getting a special award is the dog's bollocks. Or is that triggering to Colin? Or to me? I don't have bollocks, after all.

KarateKitten · 05/09/2017 19:34

It's all very funny isn't it.

LtGreggs · 05/09/2017 19:39

I have a degree in Engineering. And I have just pissed on the toilet seat (and a bit down the side).

ColinTheDachshund · 05/09/2017 19:39

Grrrrr. Yeah, a bit of a double whammy as I'm identifying as a male canine. Cis-dog flaunts his tackle, lying on his back with his cute little legs in the air :-

JohnnyMcGrathSaysFuckOff · 05/09/2017 19:49

2yo DD has just announced she identifies as a grasshopper named Frankie

ColinTheDachshund · 05/09/2017 19:52

Probably best you say DC now then instead of DD.

Dear Cricket, that is.

Kr1s · 05/09/2017 20:01

Thanks Johnny, well spotted.

i need to tell you about the horrific transphobic violence I encountered on the train today. The ticket collector refused to accept that I was a 15 yo boy and and therefore entitled to a child's ticket. He just laughed and said " nice try love " .

How can I get him sacked for this shocking display of bigotry and prejudice ?

ChattyLion · 05/09/2017 20:03

Kr1s that's a fucking travesty.

ChattyLion · 05/09/2017 20:14

Oh and Ada .. you are so right! Why didn't I think of that?

Er, I mean. ahem! .
Ada. That's what I always meant. All along. Obviously.

Sure I will take the credit for the whole team's work. I mean, I'm leading from the front here! If those part-timers had any ideas they could only have heard them from me first. Credit where it's due mate!

Potato25 · 05/09/2017 20:22

Well I have always been a man because I love and will destroy you at video games; and I wear jackets, shirts, and waistcoats. I don't wear make-up, dresses, or unpractical shoes, and I have a science degree... I am also wearing all the man colours.

Gtg do some man stuff like fixing cars and only answering questions asked by a woman to her man partner instead.

AdaColeman · 05/09/2017 20:35

Am I alone in hoping that the girlie who is planning to put the self identification Bill through Parliament is reading this?

Let's hope she understands what a huge service she is doing us blokes.
Cheers Love!!

cafeaulaitpourvous · 05/09/2017 20:37

I have just told my DH I am a man... he did this Hmm
Then he muttered - well I want to be on top....

...as he put the ironing board up and started the ironing.

FlaviaAlbia · 05/09/2017 20:52

But sisters brothers! We have an unjustice to fight. At the minute any of us newfound blokes can't inherit titles to take our rightful places in the peerage.

Now we're men, I think they should listen to us. I mean, biology is bigotry right?!

Lurkedforever1 · 05/09/2017 21:00

Nah, actual discrimination based on sex is a none issue. I'm far more concerned that I can't find tampax with the man products in the supermarket. That's far more oppressive.

However, I would like to be referred to as Sir Man now

MotherofPearl · 05/09/2017 21:03

This is one of my very best threads ever. I suppose I'll have to change my name to FatherofPearl now.

No need to bow flavia you only need to say you feel like a knight born in a commoners body and you too can be landed gentry.

I've already bagsied identifying as the owner of Balmoral, so find your own country estate. I shall tell the queen she is cis royalty if she raises objections.

FlaviaAlbia · 05/09/2017 21:23

Ta Lurked, I do feel like that now you mention it.

Balmoral is a bit far for me, I'll let you fight the queen for that, but there's a national trust estate near me, I think I'll take to go with my title. Sir Gaylord Bravo has a ring to it. I'm not sure it'll fit with the face tattoo I got earlier in the thread but I'm probably loaded now anyway.

Lurkedforever1 · 05/09/2017 21:38

Of course it will fit. We need more inclusive definitions of aristocracy. Which is why I shall debate Balmoral by asking the queen what her problem is, inviting her to take it outside, suggesting she is promiscuous and insulting her mother. As a man, and an upperclass one at that, that's how I solve shit innit, know what I mean yeah.
