If I can't beat 'em...

I'm going to put my 'gender' as male now. Going to 'live a man' but I am not going to change my clothes, not that I wear skirts much anyway. I will still style my hair and wear makeup because I will not be defined.

So I'm going to tell me DH and children tonight. I'm not sure if DH will accept that he is now gay.

Any one want to out their inner man and join me on my journey?

Bossy- Go on my son! And remember, if the cute girl (I'm assuming she is over 18 but clearly still a 'girl') fails to fall for your wit and charm she is clearly a frigid bitch or quite possibly a lesbian or both. If she orders anything expensive (even though you are not actually paying personally) and does not have sex with you it is practically fraud. If she is not impressed by your flash car and tales of all the expensive places you've been she is clearly a marxist lesbian man hater.

However, if she does have sex with you she is clearly an old slapper. If she orders anything expensive or is impressed by your fancy lifestyle then she is a money grabbing whore.

Don't forget to give a blow by blow account of any antics (real or imaginary) to the rest of the blokes at work/down the pub.

Hello Ladies. Man here.

As a Fellow (manfully ignores PP who has already given me the idea mentioned this) I have already been a man for over a decade. I've come to helpfully give you some unsolicited advice that you are all making a good effort but I think you may be talking about it too much. Just concentrate on your own thoughts, ignore everyone else and I expect people will instantly know what you're thinking. Works for me.

Just to show you the level I am at, I am currently preparing for a nap after buying (patently wrong sized and unsuitable) school uniform, and newly gay DH is making me a cup of tea.

I think you'll agree I'm an expert.

I also used to wear a hard hat for work so I'm an expert at rearranging my bollocks in an obvious fashion (If you are a real man you will know these two things are linked).

Anyway, cheers. I'll tell all my man friends about you. Clearly this place should be called Mansnet now, I will ask my newly gay DH to remind me to email Justine to tell her. If he doesn't remind me it'll be his fault if I forget.

redshoeblueshoe · 05/09/2017 11:44

September - hopefully Justine will already be Justin by now

Twelvety · 05/09/2017 11:45

Bit disappointed no-one has become Brian from Hull yet.

BeyondLimitsAndWhatever · 05/09/2017 11:51

As a now gay man, I have no one to ask. Could one of you straight men can ask the wife for me?

I can't find my lighter, does she know where it is?

OK, I'm a man now. Join me?
Lolly49 · 05/09/2017 12:07

Not sure where your lighter is mate but in my previous incarnation I may have said something detrimental to your manliness.
The womb is not a locating device(what a pathetic bitch ).

ColinTheDachshund · 05/09/2017 12:44

Humph. The cis-canine thinks I only want the nice parts of dogginess and will exert my so-called 'human privilege' to avoid the rest. Just because I wouldn't sleep in the kitchen or go out in the rain to wee or eat kibble.

DJBaggySmalls · 05/09/2017 12:44

BeyondLimitsAndWhatever Go to the petrol station and buy one. While you are there you should pick up some socks if my experience is anything to go by.

slug · 05/09/2017 12:47

I am Jesus Reyes. Godlike status CONFIRMED

ErrolTheDragon · 05/09/2017 12:51

If your OH is miffed about your newfound manliness, beyond, get some flowers there too!Smile

IndominusRex · 05/09/2017 12:53

Pretty sure I recently lost out on a job due to my having a uterus. Said uterus also causes me no end of pain and problems. If I can identify out of those then count me in. #indominusrexnotindominusbex

Birdchangedname · 05/09/2017 12:56

I went to the gym today and changed in, quite correctly, the male changing room. Some vile TERM actually complained because their child caught site of my mangina, which is ridiculous. It's my space, I can walk around starkers if I want.

Anyway, got the pair barred from the gym, the bigots really need to expand their expectations of the male body.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 05/09/2017 13:04

Dave 'ere. Anyone for the pub tonight?

jellyfrizz · 05/09/2017 13:06

OMG! You are all literally so brave.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 05/09/2017 13:06

It's not that kind of pub, love.

AssignedPerfectAtBirth · 05/09/2017 13:15

I know Jelly. But where are the fawners of MTT who usually turned up to tell us that in our previous lives we were TERFs and transphobic? Where are the congratulations from all the lib fems?

We are MEN now and we are not getting enough attention. Where are those who stand up for the men and the sons? And NAMALT

OP posts:
Lurkedforever1 · 05/09/2017 13:35

I don't know assigned. I intend infiltrating online forums and groups to find them, and then I'll alert you all to their presence and we can issue violent threats. My new imaginary penis tells me this is the best way to draw attention to the plight of historically oppressed men.

Can't find NAMALT but I've found some NIMBYs if that will do instead? My transphobic neighbour seems to think it inappropriate for me to be topless in their garden, just because it's embarrassing her cis teen son.

JohnnyMcGrathSaysFuckOff · 05/09/2017 13:36

You lot are bloody amachures.

I've been a man since at least my last namechange in 2016.

I am currently pregnant with twin SONS. Only 11 weeks but I am identifying them as boys. I have my first hospital appointment this week. They tried to send me to fetal maternal medicine to see some gynaecologist. Fuck that. I am going to ring up and demand to see an andrologist because I am a MAN and also I'd like to know where the fetal paternal medicine dept is?

If they don't have one I'll sue their TERMy arses for hurt feelings and distress.

I can just see my sad moustachioed face in the DM now.

Tamatoa · 05/09/2017 15:23

Once a month, all my weaker feelings that I rightfully suppress, leak out as a red tide of manliness. It's not uterine lining, it's the bloody remains of such useless stuff like ; seeing mess, hearing women, remembering things that is really not a manly job to think about (birthdays are not manly) etc.
I use a greasy rag from my garage to soak it up, then toss it near the washing machine to be cleaned for me.

BeyondLimitsAndWhatever · 05/09/2017 16:34

Greasy rag - ingenious!! Grin

Kr1stina · 05/09/2017 16:39

JOhnny - I hope you will be insisting on using a room in the men's labour suite when you give birth. And of course a private room during your post natal stay. Because it would be literal violence to expect you to share a ward with female gestating parents.

Perhaps they will give you an award from being the first man to give birth to twins in that hospital ? Obviously your achievement is far more noteworthy than anything else that has taken place there.

I know that parents of multiples often do charity collections for the SCBU etc. Maybe they could collect money to fund your award instead?

HeatedCatFurniture · 05/09/2017 17:51

Evening lads. Rick Goodman here. Loving my manly new man name and all the male bonding on this thread.

LaurieFairyCake · 05/09/2017 18:00

ugle.org.uk/contact-us/interested-in-becoming-a-freemason/view/form

I really do think we should all be asking the Masons on this contact form if it's ok to join if we self identify as male. Nowhere on the FAQ does it discuss this - apparently you can join a female lodge if you're a woman.

Nothing about how you identify at all.

Lolly49 · 05/09/2017 18:01

Evening Rick do you think we could be related Jimmy Goodman here maybe a beer or two later.

ParadiseCity · 05/09/2017 18:04

I'm Spartaman
