It's not designed to be realistic at all. 'Realistic' porn would be the woman getting pissed off about the fact that she is expected to suck off some random man before being penetrated having had no oral sex or manual clitoral stimulation first. 'Realistic' wouldn't involve her screaming with delight over having some bogstandard penis shoved into her various orifices. It's designed to flatter men into thinking their penises are, alternately, weapons of mass destruction or instruments capable of giving ecstatic pleasure, as opposed to the six-inch long appendages they actually are.

Lol. Don't you like sex?

gotspoiler · 26/08/2017 13:32

Collidascope what a load of bollocks. Is it that difficult for you to accept women love sex and enjoy themselves?

NoLoveofMine · 26/08/2017 13:32

This thread is about male sexual violence against women and girls in the context of another horrendous offender who committed multiple attacks including on a 14 year old girl.

I think this is where a lot of women get disillusioned about feminism.

Collidascope · 26/08/2017 13:34

Way to miss the point, you two.

AdalindSchade · 26/08/2017 13:34

I'm not going to engage with the porno cheerleaders because it's pointless, derailing and making me sad

CoinOperatedGurl · 26/08/2017 13:34

Then why the link to porn in the op?

Collidascope · 26/08/2017 13:35

Sorry, Nolove. I've got drawn into then derailing because I'm so pissed off at the shit Coin and got are coming out with. Apologies.

gotspoiler · 26/08/2017 13:35

Quite so Coin

Feminists like these who do a lot of winger wagging and telling women what to like and dislike and tell them they are victims all the time are not doing themselves any favours

CoinOperatedGurl · 26/08/2017 13:35

Sorry but it's not derailing anything when the porn link is in the op. And as someone who is part of it and enjoys watching it of course I want to defend it!

Scrumplestiltskin · 26/08/2017 13:37

I think this thread is a good example of how women's concerns get shoved under the rug.
And also how patriarchy as a whole ends up using DARVO (Deny, Attack, and Reverse Victim and Offender.,) in order to silence women.

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 26/08/2017 13:37

Nice little tag team you have got going there Coin and Got

I really hope Coin is a troll.

I started off feeling sorry for Coin on another thread she is posting on but no longer.

If Coin is real I hope she is not passing on the toxic and dangerously deluded ideas she expressed about consent and sexual abuse on the Macron thread to her own children.

CoinOperatedGurl · 26/08/2017 13:39

No I'm not a troll. Im a sex worker, mother and girlfriend. I also have very strong opinions on people who try to tarnish an entire industry by labelling the workers victims and the consumers deviant misogynists.

NoLoveofMine · 26/08/2017 13:39

Not your fault Collidascope Smile

It's just rather tiresome when a couple of posters come on specifically to derail a thread. Worse still when it's about male violence against women including an attack on a 14 year old girl.

OP posts:
Missymoo100 · 26/08/2017 13:40

I think there are multiple problems, on a whole society is going down the pan and here are some reasons why

  • sex is promoted everywhere, its constant, its in the media, we are judged on how we look, how much and what type of sex were having, porn etc. sex is no longer seen as a loving respectful act but as a commodity to which some feel entitled, the media even without porn treats women as sex objects- e.g. Page 3
  • breakdown of religion, whether you believe or not it used to serve as a moral compass which may have been a deterrent from violence, rape etc
  • people out of employment, drinking, drugs a sense of nihilism, that means people just don't give a crap and do as they please
  • weak sentencing and lack of punishment for crime. A disdain for authority in general. No deterrant.
I think society is becoming more and more selfish. We do what pleases us with little thought for others. Men who rape I believe feel entitled to seize what they desire. I don't think its misogyny alone, I think society is becoming sick.

@NoLoveofMine

"This thread is about male sexual violence against women and girls in the context of another horrendous offender who committed multiple attacks including on a 14 year old girl."

I thought the thread was about the link between porn and violence not about ALL male violence.

gotspoiler · 26/08/2017 13:41

Many consumers of porn are also women. Do they hate other women? What about feminist porn directors?

CoinOperatedGurl · 26/08/2017 13:41

I started off feeling sorry for Coin on another thread she is posting on but no longer.

Also please don't feel sorry for me. I'm not a victim.

On the contrary. I'm a regular professional contrarian on here about things I see as the more "Milly Tant take offence where none is intended" issues. But the serious stuff? No , very happy to support the anti-porn views on here.

CoinOperatedGurl · 26/08/2017 13:43

I thought the thread was about the link between porn and violence not about ALL male violence.

Thank you! So did I!

Missymoo100 · 26/08/2017 13:44

The problem is systemic to society as opposed to "men"and "misogyny" as factors alone

Scrumplestiltskin · 26/08/2017 13:45

I do agree with this. Misogyny is a big part of it, but it's also more widespread than just violence against women - it's identity politics, and entitlement, and a lack of community responsibility.

CoinOperatedGurl · 26/08/2017 13:47

LassWiTheDelicateAir

So you ARE anti porn.

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 26/08/2017 13:48

Also please don't feel sorry for me. I'm not a victim

You were having what you thought was consensual sex with adult men when you were pre-teen. You thought it was reasonable for a 15 year old to have a sexual relationship with a 30 year old man. Keep telling yourself you were not a victim but as someone else said the level of cognitive dissonance needed to get to that belief is mind- blowing.

You clearly also have no idea what "grooming" means.

But you need not worry about anyone feeling sorry for you given your posts on this thread.

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 26/08/2017 13:49

LassWiTheDelicateAir

Yes- why the need for shouty capitals? Why is that surprising?
