Woman jailed for ten years for false rape accusations

Can we discuss this case? It's interesting for lots of reasons, including that the sentence she has been given for making multiple false accusations is over three times the length that one of the men who was falsely accused was given for actual rape

Rape ruins lives. Even being convicted of rape doesn't ruin lives.

Of course it does. Even though there are many many examples where it hasn't, it still does for many others.
No matter how many newspaper reports people pluck out showing men who have returned to successful careers, it there are many others where it does (and rightly so where they are guilty).

I find this woman disgusting. She does an injustice for every women out there that has genuinely suffered from this horrific crime. The amount of lives that have been affected as a result of her lies, not only for the person accused but also their family and friends too. She deserves to be sent to prison.
